The prints can be applied directly to the canvas. The prints dry quickly and are smudge proof once dry. The ink pad itself measures approximately 9cm x 6cm however the surface is raised, so the hand or foot doesn't have to fit entirely - just wipe the pad over the surface allowing you to capture even larger prints! The canvas measures approximately 20cm x 20cm. Most importantly of all, the ink is BABY SAFE! It is 100% NON TOXIC, ACID FREE and EASY TO CLEAN UP so you can use on baby's skin with total confidence.
