Must have for any collection
I know this is going to sound crazy, but you would think you could just walk into Walmart or Home Deport and buy one of these. Or better yet, just stop in to your local market and ask for milk creates. To my surprise, finding one of these is not half as easy as I thought. It's because of that, I feel the price is also so high for something that so simple to build. So for the cost and how easy it was to assemble...for me, this is the cheap way out. Now granted I can maybe spend the same amount and build two if these myself. Who has the time. This is a great buy if you ask me.

Nice wooden crate
I got this in the mail today. It was shipped unassembled, the sides are assembled but you have to put them together into a box with the provided screws. It's not difficult to figure out which direction things go and there are pilot holes so you line up the screws properly. I used a power drill and it probably didn't take me 5 minutes to finish assembling it. I didn't count how many I put into the final crate, and I put a bunch of double albums in there anyway which might change things, but I freed up a lot of space on the bookshelf where I have my records. I am considering getting one or two more of the same. I might also paint the outside, since it is bare wood and doesn't match anything in the room for me.Still, overall it's a nice sturdy box, even when you're carrying it across the room (and 60-80 records are REALLY heavy!).

Great storage solution for LPs, but smaller than standard produce crate
Quick delivery. Item was a bit smaller than the standard crate size, but nevertheless once assembled, is a strong and reliable crate to store 33rpm LP. The smaller size actually provides flexibility of where to place the crate. Takes some time to assemble but the assembly is very straight forward.

Having to assemble it was fine, but I would think for the price the wood would at least be mildly sanded. So many rough edges and splinters. Also when I received the package it reeked of smoke. I did same day delivery so it couldn't have been sitting in a delivery car for long enough to soak up that much stench.

Great Album storage!
This crate was much better than I expected and only took 18 minutes to assemble with a Philips screwdriver. Holds 33rpm records nicely. Very stackable up to maybe 4 high? Looks good too!

Ehhh...it's okay.
For forty bucks...ehh...you could find a used milk crate to do the same job. The wood definitely lends itself to a stain and several edges (particularly where you insert your LP) could use a bit of sandpaper. Esthetically pleasing nonetheless.
