I’m really pleased with the Gibson Home Hazeltine 16‑Piece Black Stoneware Dinnerware Set. The stoneware feels sturdy and well-made, with a nice weight that doesn’t feel fragile. This stone ware is awesome. I'm not huge on writing reviews but this product deserves it!! I feel it's absolutely gorgeous! There colors are subtle but stunning and unique. The swirl pattern is honestly one of my favorite aspects along with the smooth glossy finish. The size and shape of the plates and bowls make it functional for all of my needs. Personally I LOVE the pasta bowls!! I'm one of those people that eat almost anything in a bowl and these are the absolute perfect blend of bowl and plate!😁 The weight is perfect, which is very important to me as I have terrible arthritis. Not too heavy but sturdy enough to feel expensive but yet are very reasonably priced. I waited to write this after heating up something in one of the smaller bowls in the microwave to see how it fared compared to what I was using. I love the way my dinner heated while not burning my hands while removing it from the microwave. I do suggest everyone uses caution for safety though, 😊 Also, I am the dishwasher, so I can only comment that with the smooth glossy finish clean up was a breeze! It has been many years since I've purchased new dinnerware and I can honestly say, I am absolutely thrilled that I came upon these!

I was looking for a set of dishes that was affordable, beautiful, and came with pieces I could use, versus the too-small fussy-looking mugs that dish sets often come with. I wanted to be able to afford two sets so I could serve extended family. These fit the bill on all counts. The two shapes of bowls included (a soup bowl and a pasta bowl, I guess I would call them) are convenient. The pattern is modern and nice. It's a bit larger-scale than I expected, but I don't think the photos are misleading, I think it was just me somehow. And the scale is perfectly fine. The blue is a nice classy navy, and it matches the inexpensive Japanese-patterned ice cream bowls sold elsewhere on this site, down to the brown rim, which adds a nice finished touch. I have had these dishes for just over a month, and I already have a small chip in one of the plates. That said, I am not the most careful individual. It also seems that pretty dishes are almost never chip-proof. I am going to repair it with a kintsugi kit sold here. They look great on the table and I would totally buy them again.

Beautiful set of dishes. I ordered 2 so I could get an 8 place setting. I'm well pleased. Arrived packaged securely and without any breakage at all.

I purchased four complete sets for a total of sixteen place settings. I adore the vibrant color green with the tan/brown edging the rim. Solid plates, slight imperfection in the shape and style, adds character. Microwave safe. I love this set because it does not have the wasted cups and saucers. The pasta bowl is low and wide, perfect for pie ala mode or homemade soft serve ice cream. Everyday use or special place setting for Christmas and Easter.

I went to like 4 different stores trying to find some reasonably priced dishes for my new place and had no luck, I should have saved the time and gas and came to Amazon first! These dishes are durable, microwave and dishwasher safe (not that I have a dishwasher lol) and they just look gorgeous! The set was just the perfect size for me seeing as I’m single and only entertain a couple people at a time when having folks over for a dinner or game night.
