Too bad this type of Thinkpad has a locked bus speed of 100MHz. So, “speed/snap” did not happen as you’d think with 64GB. But this ram lets me do lots of virtualization configurations. Amazon packaging is decent enough. Arrived in new condition. Installed easily. No hiccups. Customer support was quick and extra helpful —no issue with this RAM, I was asking them about a separate request (single rank ram). Anyway, one week later and a prime95 blended torture test checked out perfect. Will run memtest eventually, but this seems super stable…T480 20L6 i5-8350U AX210nic. Boh! *note to people interested in T480, these motherboards are locked @ bus speed to 100 MHz, pretty slow. Not a gaming laptop really

memory arrived new in a sealed package and exactly matched the specs of both what I ordered and the existing memory in my laptop. This kit worked perfectly in my Thinkpad T480, though it does require some patience as it took the laptop a minute or so to pick up the new memory.

The T460 comes with 8 soldered RAM so removing the 16 adding one of these got me to 40! It's like a whole new computer.
