It's a like-for-like replacement for my old desk drawers. They even include the spring steel retaining clip, along with the lock, & 2 keys. Good value, because a replacement key is about the same price! Just unclip the old lock, withdraw it, insert the new lock, & replace the retaining clip (now theres a spare) - quite simple, & easy to do. The lock works as intended.

Lock was perfect for a quality filing cabinet purchased from a charity shop as the key was missing needed new lock and this one was the perfect size It was easy to fit with no issues however one problem to be aware of is the supplied two keys as per the photos you will see that they have a very deep V groove which holds the key ring plastic to the key on second use the plastic split I have no idea as to why the key is designed this way It will still work but your left with a little stub but it could easily be drilled to fit the ring Would have been a definite 5 stars otherwise

Stupidly broke the key of my desk pedestal lock in the lock. Had the desk for many years, so no record of where I bought it. Found this direct replacement delivered within 36 hours of ordering. A perfect fit !

Was gifted a large 4 drawer file cabinet that had a key broken in lock. Bought this lock to replace it. Googled how to take lock out, replaced with this lock. Locking cabinet again.. so easy. Lock arrived pretty quickly and was simple to replace. ☺️

the keys were lost to my pedal stall at work. This lock is quick and easy to install. Just need a flathead screw driver of a knife to pull out the little bracket holding in lock. Package comes with new bracket if you lose the original. Keys fit well.
