Gale Force Nine Dungeon & Dragons Tomb of Annihilation Map Set (4-Maps), Multicolor

Definitely holds up a bit better than the foldable player map included in the physical copy of the Tomb of Annihilation module. The little maps are also great for DM reference and exploring the lost city and Port Nyanzaru. Could have been better if it included some other locations like Hrakhamar, Kir Sabal, Nangalore, Jahaka Anchorage, or the Tomb itself, but as it is, these four maps are well worth what GF9 is charging. 100% recommended if you plan to play in person.

Will help alot to run the adventure. Would have liked it to be as large as the actual paper foldout you get in the book. And would be great if they had some kind of peel away hex as you adventure. So ppl can see the hexes how they should be once they adventure through The map that has everything revealed is a bit small. Some areas the hexes blend in together and its hard to see where one hex ends and another begins. They need to make the hex borders more distinct on the DMs revealed map. Otherwise great job i like a good map that the players can write on and plot there course.

Got this as a gift for my wife as she is DMing ToA. These maps have become essential and have kept the game moving! I just wish they would release more for different ToA locations

Maps were high quality and great for use in my campaign. I was able to easily mark them and for the most part they came clean when necessary. It helped to bring the campaign alive.

The quality of these maps is wonderful, but they mess up boxing my shipment and sent me the most important map that goes to my party in Spanish. Not world ending but massively inconvenient.

The maps are sturdy and easy to roll back up for storage in the tube. The container tub works well and I very much like the quality of the artwork.

Great tool for adventuring in Chult. I don't know if $60 was a fair price to pay for only 4 maps, though. That's more than the hardcover module costs on Amazon. I love the value these lend to the game, but am giving a couple less stars for the price tag. It might have been worth it to get all 20+ maps in vinyl for 60 bucks, but only 4 is a ripoff.

These maps are durable and high quality. If your running a full ToA Campaign and do not have a few of these larger maps, these are the way to go. The price is appropriate for the quality of the maps.

Arrived in wonderful time and the maps are great except for the printing has some toner lines and a few edges were white. I imagine the dry erase material isn't the easiest to print on, but if this is typical of the product would have been nice to see that written somewhere.

The maps look like they have a printing error. I have been informed that this is "normal", but the product does not look as advertised as a result, and a couple of the maps are quite hard to read due to the poor print quality.

Als Spielleiter versuche ich meiner Party eine möglichst tiefgehende Spielerfahrung zu bieten. In meinen Augen sind besonders physische Gegenstände hilfreich, um Spieler noch tiefer in die Welten zu ziehen. Dieses Kartenpaket ist eine großartige Möglichkeit, die Spieler etwas handfestes auf den Weg zu geben – vor allem, weil sie auch in der Story eine unvollständige Karte erhalten. Als wir also an die Stelle kamen, wo der Gruppe die Karte überreicht wird und ich plötzlich die Karte aus dem Rucksack hervorzauberte, war die Begeisterung riesig. Besonders bei dieser Kampagne macht die Karte viel her, weil die Gruppe ständig planen muss, wo es hingehen soll und wie man weiter vorankommt. Also lag die (unaufgedeckte) Karte fortan immer mit auf dem Tisch und es wurde viel beratschlagt, wo es als nächstes hinzugehen hat. In meinen Augen eine tolle Bereicherung für diese große Kampagne.Auch die Karte der Stadt ist toll, ist sie ebenfalls hilfreich für die Party. Natürlich kann man solche Karten auch ausdrucken, aber es macht hier schon etwas mehr her.Das Material der Karten fühlt sich gut und beständig an – die Druckstreifen fielen mir ehrlich gesagt nicht so stark ins Auge, aber sie sind durchaus vorhanden. Das sollte für den Gebrauch im Spiel aber wirklich keinerlei Einfluss haben.Manko ist meinen Augen die geringe Zahl der Karten – man erhält lediglich 4 Karten, darunter 2x die Insel Chult (auf- und unaufgedeckt), die Hafenstadt und Omu. Für den Preis hätten es durchaus ein paar mehr Karten sein dürfen – auch weil es so viele Schauplätze in dieser Kampagne gibt. Aber gut, dies druckt man sich eben selbst aus.Wer seine Party überraschen will, kann hier durchaus zugreifen. Preislich nicht ganz attraktiv, aber das ist man ja irgendwie vom Hobby gewohnt.

Bei allen Karten ziehen sich deutlich sichtbare Druckstreifen über die ganze Fläche.
