Raskullz Girls 8+ Loud Cloud Sparklez Helmet

I bought this helmet for my eight-year-old granddaughter on the basis of the size range, but it is a bit too large for her. The size is my only complaint with this item, she loves the helmet and so do I. It looks pretty, if rather busy, in the product description, but out of the box it is absolutely adorable. The patchwork pattern is textured, with stitching that looks real. The helmet is girlie and glittery, but in my opinion not to a tacky extent. It is just right for a girl in the 8-11 year age range. The helmet is fitted with fabric covered foam inside, and appears to be solidly constructed. Until we can find a better-fitting helmet, we allow her to wear this one with a thick-knit pull on hat underneath, which works well in winter weather. She is not allowed to ride in the street, but in a nearby school parking lot for now. The helmet has a switch inside that a child can reach while she's wearing it. This will turn on the row of small colored lights on the front of the helmet. They glow in rapid succession whenever she turns her head or taps the helmet. So far, this feature continues to function well for our granddaughter. This is a great helmet at a decent price. Just be aware that the sizing runs a bit large.

I purchased this helmet for my daughter!. We absolutely love it!. Even though some reviews I read most of them stated the lights did not work so knowing that my daughter still loved it we went with it!. It fits perrectly! It’s adjustable as are all helmets so it’s snug under her chin and when we found the on switch it worked!!! It lights up beautifully which works when the sun is going down and you finally have them talked into walking back tk the car its great!! It flashes for a little bit and then it goes off which turning the switch off tk lm puts it right back on !!. This helmet is way cuter in person with all the glitter inlays and the sweet clouds!! Defiantly suits my daughter!

This is such a nice helmet. It is glamorous and edgy--perfect for a girl who is no longer a "baby". My soon to be nine-year-old daughter loves this. Makes her feel like a big girl, but with all the bells and whistles that little girls love. This helmet will fit her for at least 3 more years. Bonus feature: it lights up too.

My 8-year-old daughter loves this helmet! It's bright and colorful, and the cloud on the front lights up when you flip a switch. It feels very sturdy--it's a heavy helmet, but that doesn't bother her. I'm only giving this 4 stars because it runs really large. My daughter is almost 9, and while her head may be a little smaller than average, it's not unusually tiny. But it was just way too loose on her. In fact, my husband, whose head is a small adult size, was able to put this helmet on! I purchased extra pads (sold on Amazon as "Bicycle Helmet Replacement Foam Pad Set Universal Fit Cycling Giro Bell Limar, BEST VALUE , Includes Extra Pieces!") They work great, and there are a ton of them, so I'll also be able to use them for my son's helmet, and I'll still have a lot left over. But I didn't care for the extra expense of pads when I'd already paid very close to full price for the helmet.

My daughter has a Razor pocket mod scooter that she rides around and I have a 50cc scooter that she rides on with me and I wanted a helmet to protect her for both and she is a girl that loves anything bright, fun and colorful so when I seen this helmet, I knew it was the one! I ordered yesterday and it already came today and it's so much cuter in person than in the picture! And, it lights up! She was ecstatic to see that it lit up! It fits her perfectly and she said its so comfortable, which is the most important thing. So excited that she'll be cruising in style while protecting her head!

I purchased this for my granddaughter who will be turning 8 in a few months. I let her select the one that she wanted after looking online for hours. She selected this one and she absolutely loves it. Her mother says she wears it around the house just to be wearing it. Now her little sister has to have one just like it. Be sure you measure your childs head circumference before just ordering to make sure you get the correct size. I had to do a google search to figure this out on my own. I think the helmet companies would be offering their potential customers a great service to provide a sizing guide as part of their ad copy. I know I would have appreciated having this available to me and not having to do my own homework to find out about sizing. That is my only complaint. This is a great helmet and very cute.

Very cute helmet the picture does it no justice but my granddaughter just turned 10 and it’s so big on her I got her the size medium for 8 to 12 year olds . Guess I should have measured her head but thought it would fit she is slightly small for her age and there is no way to adjust it also the lights don’t work. Unfortunately I am in the process to return. I repurchased another one a size small and it fits her but there is no light switch on the small size.size

These are really cute, unique, and very practical and safe. Even the inside has a really cute flower design at the top of the head. I bought one of each of the two designs. I did have to exchange one in the next size up for my petite 9-year-old daughter. She was right in-between sizes. That next size up is a little too big, but she liked the feel of it better. A petite adult could wear it. These come with a high recommendation from me based on the unique design and cuteness. Also, the glitter does not come off and leave any residue everywhere. It is enlayed into the product.
