Great product to use for super dry cracked feet and skin. Helps heal quickly and is odor free for sensitive skin. The tub is a great size for the price instead of buying small tubes.

I have been using this for 7 months and this is my experiance. I use this as part of my day and night facial routine. It's consistency is very very heavy kind of like petroleum jelly but a whole lot firmer and thick thick! It also depends on the room temp. You do not need a whole lot. Works better than any chap stick out there in the market. I did have a hard time adjusting to it's thickness but over time it's become a norm for me and I have figured exactly how much I need for what body part. The consistency so very thick that you cannot rub this if you want to put on your face. I more rub it on the palm of my hands make friction to heat it up a little and pat my face and neck. Rubbing on legs and arms is easier. Note your hair may stick to your face sometimes. If you have dry skin this is the product for you. I have oily and dry combo type of skin and this is amazing. I use it on my elbow and knees as well I got the 8 oz size and am not half way yet but I mostly use it on my face and neck not body unless I'll be showing skin and need to look mousturized. Summary It feels thick waxy oily all at the same time. It smells is not bad but it has a scent I cant describe. After using for a while I don't notice it anymore. I recommend it for sure may not be for everyone but give it a chance and time to get used to it and you will love it!

This lanolin is the best - it's a constant purchase for us. If you don't know about lanolin, or are curious about it, know that it isn't a lotion or gel, it's literally wax. It's waxy, it's sticky, it's kinda greasy, but it WORKS. It works like a million bucks. Man, it feels good on cracked hands, feet, or dry skin. Give it a try, but be aware that this is waxy and it does smell like a barn, but after a while you get to love both of those aspects anyway ;) We often make a home mixture of 1/3 lanolin, 1/3 coconut oil or hemp oil, and 1/3 regular hand lotion - this helps it spread easier and absorb better.

It takes a few hours to soak into your skin, but when it does I've never had such soft skin at 73 years old.

I have rough sandpaper skin on my face, especially in the winter. I've tried lots of emollients that help some. DMSOStore Lanolin works. I put it on wet skin at night and in the morning, my skin is soft and fresh. The lanolin is thick, like a really soft wax. I rub it between my hands until it's spreadable. It's whiteish when it goes on, particularly it you put it on wet skin, but becomes clear once at body temperature. This is not some foo-foo perfumed cream; it has an slight earthy smell that I find pleasant. Some reviewers say it smells like the back end of a sheep. Ah, no. I have sweaters than smell more like sheep than does the DMSOStore lanolin. I'm glad I found this product and appreciative of the space in my bathroom after I threw out a lifetime's collection of ineffective lotions.

Strong smell. A little goes a long way. Don’t use if you are allergic to wool

The DMSO is USP grade lanolin, so supposed to be highly refined, pharmaceutical-grade, natural wool wax. It appears to be a good product, but this brand is thinner than past brands I've purchased, so may be "watered down" in some way. However, it works well as a lip emollient and to add to lipsticks to make lip gloss. I have also added peppermint oil to some for a nice flavor and scent. Nothing works as well as lanolin for truly helping to heal chapped lips. Except for true beeswax, other waxes out there seem to exacerbate chapping.
