YogaAccessories Supportive Round Cotton Yoga Bolster

This bolster is exactly what I need with one caveat.Pros: fairly large around, firm, round profile so a foot or ankle can rest comfortably. It's going to help a lot with recuperating from my current foot surgery and upcoming knee surgery. I currently use 2 firm pillows stacked on top of each other and it is a constant hassle to keep them on top of each other and under my foot, especially in bed at night. The pillows sag too of course, so I can barely keep my foot at the needed elevation, which is not a problem with this bolster. Yayy!!! And the color is a lovely green (the sage).Con: the dimensions are off. 28" probably measures the length of the "tube" but the stuffing pushes the ends out so it's actually a good 4-5" longer. I would prefer 20", what I ordered was 28", what I got is close to 34" For many users this won't matter, but I find it more difficult in bed under the covers, and the other place I use the bolster is on my sofa. It hangs a good 8-10" off the end and its heavy, so it's teetery when I'm not using it.All in all I'm delighted that something so helpful for my recovery is also nice looking, sturdy and reasonably priced.

I was looking for a cylindrical bolster to use instead of my rectangular block bolster. I needed something lighter and easier to wrap around during other yogic practices, not just restorative. This is a little wide in the circumference, but it’s only slightly over 5 pounds and is easier to wrap around and more comfortable to lay over you. Would recommend. Also, no bugs. I inspected immediately by taking off cover. It was wrapped in plastic and very clean, not reused at all.

I got this bolster to support my prenatal yoga practice at home and it's exactly what I wanted. It's firm but very comfortable, has retained it's circular shape so far but will gradually become oval with use, and I'm happy with it either way. I'm 5'5" and it's long enough to support my full spine (lower back, shoulders, neck, and head) when lying on it in inclined positions, and also runs the full length of my shin (ankle to knee) when propping my leg for side savasana (resting pose). It works for a variety of other restorative poses too, as expected.The only thing I don't use it for is as a body pillow in bed at night - my bed is on the softer side and my body sinks down just enough to make the height too tall for easy snuggling, at least until it compresses a bit more. Regular pillows work just fine under my knees and stomach in the meantime.Since I wasn't sure I'd need a bolster after pregnancy I didn't want to waste a lot of money on a more expensive model, but I'm so glad I got this one. It has transformed my practice completely and I get much more out of each session, plus, now that I have it I'm excited to use it for restorative poses even after pregnancy. If you're thinking about it, get it. Great bolster and I am very happy.

I ordered the Black and it came wrapped in a plastic bag inside the shipping box. I have not washed it yet, but would imagine from the fabric that there could be some shrinking (as noted by other reviews) - BUT....just like anything else made of this type of fabric that I wash, I will give it a good stretch a few times during its line (versus machine) drying.The bolster itself is a pretty standard size, nice and firm and appears to be of good quality. All around this is a great buy and a great value - so far no compromises for the slightly less expensive option compared to others of this size. Recommend purchasing if you are in the market.

This bolster is a great size and appears to be well constructed. Delivery was on time and it was packaged well and arrived in good condition order. The stuffing seems to be of a great consistency, with just enough firmness and give. My only gripe is that the bolster has a pretty strong chemically smell straight out of the package. I will try sitting it outside in the sun to see if it can help the odor dissipate. I ordered the rectangle bolster from the same company and it does not have a smell at all. I'm not sure why this one smells so strongly.

Such a high quality bolster! I've been doing yoga for 18 years & love restorative. I became a yoga teacher 2 years ago & never bought any accessories (besides mats, oils, clothes). But then I did a yoga nidra training & the studio had these beautiful bright red bolsters and I had such a beautiful experience that I came home & ordered an identical bolster (this one) & a couple cheap falsa blankets and blocks & a strap for my home practice. It's been a nice addition even though old habits die hard & I usually revert to vinyasa on the lawn & this bolster sits against the stairway with my honeys air compressor & other tools. But, when I do bust it out it's pure heaven & my yoga nidra practice is ultra soothing & healing. It's solid supportive, highest quality, and perfect for restorative poses.

I love this bolster!! I was nervous buying one online because I wanted a firm bolster that held its shape well. Luckily, this one is perfect! I use it constantly and it is still nice and round and firm. It's a great size and shape for yoga or just in general if you have low back issues and like to prop your knees up on something while lying on your back (I needed it for both). I loved it so much that I recently gifted one to a friend of mine for her baby shower!

This is a big yoga bolster with handle straps on each end and a zipper so you can take the cover off and wash it. It's densely filled. The cover is tightly woven (cotton twill) and well stitched. I've only been using it for 2 days, but it seems like it will hold up.YES:* put it under your knees to sleep* put it under your chest to work on a laptop while you're lying on your stomach* fill in the gigantic gap in your saggy couch's lumbar region* do restorative yoga posesNO:* it is not to eat* you should not expect it to deflect bullets* do not use this one for pillow fights. It would really hurt.
