Works great with leather die cutters. Easy to set up. Never even read the instructions. Works like a champ. Is very heavy, however. If you are looking for a good press, for less than the cost of the pro tools from the major players, this one works very well.

This is a very sturdy and smooth tool that has worked very well for me. I use it with custom dies to punch out 1/8” foam rubber pieces, and it has worked great for my purposes. The tool is quite heavy and requires some time to calibrate using the large nuts on each side. A trick that has saved me a lot of time is to use pieces of paper underneath the bottom cutting surface to adjust for any small thickness difference between dies. I recommend this tool and would buy again.

For those into leatherwork and looking to streamline your cutting / stamping, this is a great setup. It’s heavy, solid, easy to use. Highly recommend this!

Item seems well built and very heavy. However, only gets 3 stars because it arrived missing one bolt that holds the upper plate to the pistons, and the other was also about to fall out. One of the cams was also out of position. After a long time spent trying to find a bolt that would work, and a correct sized Allen wrench, I finally got it put together. Overall, it seems like a good product, but needs better quality control.

I love the ease of setting this press up, but have someone around with a good back as it is heavy. Fully adjustable to multiple die heights. Makes it easy to use dies to cut through heavy and thick materials.

The machine itself is excellent. Works great. Easy to pull. Easy to balance. Very nice and I use this everyday on leather. The shipping carton was sturdy and great. Now for the not so good part…. It’s EXTREMELY HEAVY. 80 pounds. Which is expected. What I did not expect was needing to remove the base to assemble a part of the machine. Then to have to re attach the base. To do this was not difficult but it required two people. It’s no easy to work with something this heavy. What I can not understand is why they wouldn’t simply put the machine together before shipping. There was absolutely no way to assemble the inside parts without removing that very heavy base to the machine. FYI… the Allen wrench they sent did not fit the part to attach the inside hardware. I had to use my own. For someone that’s a more petite woman like myself, having to assemble equipment like this was unexpected, unnecessary, unreasonable and dangerous. The company really needs to consider the fact that this should come assembled

I haven’t used it tons, but I’ve made several keychains and think this winter I’ll get a lot of use out of it. Pretty straight forward and easy to use.

This will be an incomplete review as I am waiting for a cutting die to arrive for an official test of the cutting. On arrival and packaging I am disappointed. The box this arrived in looked as if it had been tumbled down the runway as the cargo plane from chine buzzed the tower dumping its load on the American consumers. Nothing was aligned regarding set up, everything is dirty and covered with a thin layer of bearing grease and dust. There is enough grease on this to ruin a piece of leather. Most of the threads on both adjustment posts are smashed and makes the threading of the nuts tough but the steel of the threads is softer than that of the nuts and the nuts have reshaped the threads. There are no instructions on set up. Most of it is common sense, but I am thankful for the Youtube video from DieselPunkRo about this machine explaining to make sure the pressure plates are all level.Now I have it all adjusted, leveled and wiped down I am ready to cut leather. The die is scheduled to arrive later this week. I only hope that the machine cuts better that how the machine was presented to me.All in all, the machine is exactly what I expected for the money spent. If this machine is being purchased for hobby use, I guess it is a good machine. If the plan is to use for a real grinding production machine, I fear it will fall short. Only time will tell.
