I only buy this brand of double sticky because it's what we used when I did custom picture framing and I'm nostalgic. In different shops 3m is all any business used and since I also was clumsy and cut myself constantly with the X-acto knives, I had bandaids on every single finger at one time. Bandaids were important because they had to be waterproof from constant hand washing at work and also to keep anything from leaking out. Regular bandaids were no good but I found 3m waterproof bandaids. Since then I learned that 3m makes the best "sticky stuff" and it's all I buy in that category. This tape is the best. Now I just use it to hold my heel lifts in place in my shoes. It sticks so well that I feel secure using it on flip flops and I never worry that I'll lose the lift. the reason I think 3m makes the best "sticky stuff" is because even with the bandaids, it sticks so well but when you want to remove the sticky, it's easy to get off.One thing to watch for is that I meant to order 1/2" but this is 1/4" so make sure you order the correct size.

This 3M tape makes paper crafting a zip. I like this tape, and they have another that is good for Scrapbooking. The ATG gun that goes with this tape is also very hardy, as I've had mine for years. It is the kind of product that I got when I was a kid, and you bought something once, and it lasted forever. You may pay a little more for this, but you will have it forever, I promise. My mom always said that you buy the best you can afford, and have it forever. I dare you to try that with very many things today in this disposable society.

Bought this tape after reading in a forum it could help fix the piping on the convertible top window.Installed the tape around the window and worked just like the forum indicated, saving a few hundred on a new window replacement.Comes off the roll easily, easy to store in the garage and seems to have the holding power to stand up to the heat. Nice product, I will keep an eye out for projects that might require a different sized roll so I can purchase more.

Extremely effective. In can be done without the expensive applicator, but is somewhat cumbersome. If you were to do more than couple a month, the applicator is a must. The results in laying down frame dust covers are outstanding.
