Stunning pictures of homes, not show pieces but homes that seamlessly fit into the landscape. Beautifully done.

イメージ的にはフランクロイドライトの山荘みたいなのを浮かべてくれれば大体合ってると思います。あれをモダンにした感じの山荘や海辺・湖畔の家なんかを大判の写真で意匠が分かるように紹介しています。そういえば最近観た映画「エクス・マキナ」の舞台になる社長さんの豪邸もこんな感じでした。住む家というよりは美術館や博物館みたいな部屋割りや大きさで、迎賓館みたいな使い方でもしないなら中々管理費ばかり掛かって難儀な家だなぁというのが感想です。
