I bought this to replace a 12 foot 16 gauge 3-outlet grounded extension from Home Depot I was using which was not quite long enough for my application. This one is certainly long enough at over 14 feet. This cord is lighter construction than the one I replaced and has a label saying "FOR USE ONLY WHERE NOT SUBJECT TO FREQUENT FLEXING", which is fine for my application. The important thing is that it's UL Listed. As another reviewer mentioned, I had trouble inserting a polarized 2-wire plug in all but one of the outlets, it would not go all the way in. With these caveats, it's adequate and cheaper than most extension cords of this type and length.

It does the job as it should and the low profile head is very practical.
