Yes, this type of film has been done before, but then again, how long has it been since Hollywood had a new thought or idea. The main actors/ actresses in this film, Abigail Breslin, Drew Fuller, James Garner, do a quality job in their roles. I do believe that it does step it up a little more than other films like it, in that the actors / actresses play their roles in a very personal and relatable way, and you can feel their characters build as the movie progresses. Call it what you will, I give it a 5 star because I feel it deserves it, and any film with James Garner in it already has a head start against the competition to me.

Courages, game changer for the young man's life.

The story with the deceased grandfather encouraging his grandson to get his life straightened out even though he was no longer alive to see the results had a tender yet tough feel. The cast of characters was an excellent choice to keep the story flowing. I highly recommend this movie.
