The blade cuts good or at least it did the first 2 cuts in 2 1/2 inch pipe i did then it started cutting the pipes on an angle & i cant see why the blade is straight held the bottom car tight against pipe but still it cuts on an angle cant find anything loose with the blade so will try it a couple times more to see if it gets better if not then i will return it.

I bought this after struggling mightily with the large capacity cutters from the big box stores. I had to stand on the handles of those to make a cut through 2" PVC which made using it on any pipe already installed was a non-starter. As opposed to those, the AMT version cut nicely through 2" PVC. The first pull is the toughest but it gets easier from there and the ratcheting mechanism is much better than others I have used as the distance to squeeze is less. It's also reasonably priced.
