High-Powered Stunt Truck Built to Bash
The ARRMA Outcast is an absolute blast to drive and delivers outstanding performance. The power from the 4S BLX system is impressive, providing fast acceleration, high top speeds, and incredible stunt capability right out of the box. Wheelies, jumps, and flips are handled with ease. Build quality is excellent, with a durable chassis and strong suspension that can take hard landings and rough terrain without issue. The 4WD system offers great traction and control, making it easy to handle on dirt, grass, and pavement. Reliability has been solid, and the truck feels well-engineered for long-term use. Overall, this RC truck is perfect for anyone looking for high performance, durability, and nonstop fun. Whether you’re bashing at the skate park or tearing up the backyard, the Outcast delivers every time. Highly recommended.

Epicness
This truck is epic! Very durable and fast. Needs a few tweaks such as strengthening the weak steering by replacing the spring in the servo saver with a stronger spring from the Kimbrough servo saver. I would also recommend having extra shock rod ends on hand as they seem to be a breaking point on hard impacts. Also the center differential could use some thicker fluid. I went with 20 mil but might try something lighter to avoid uncontrollable wheelies. Other than that you will not be disappointed with this truck! The handling is top notch and my favorite part is the stable wheelies you can pop anytime you want on literally any surface!

A-arm/ hingepin/ chassis problem
Great car for jumps and tricks. Was disappointed in the weakness of the a-arm hingepin/ chassis connection. If you come down from a jump on a corner, good chance the hingepin will rip a piece out of the chassis, causing you to replace the chassis. They probably should have made the a-arm weaker so that it would break before breaking the chassis.

Rocket basher!
This thing is an insane amount of fun! Can't speak on durability yet, plenty of YT reviews for after a span of time, but it is so fast on a 4s battery it's exhilarating. This is the V2 (not the V2.5 which has great upgrades). I had contemplated getting the V2.5 but once I found out the battery tray was much shorter due to the upgraded diff, I decided to go with the V2 to keep my battery options larger. Battery and charger is sold separately. Running a 100c 4s 8000mah EC5 connector lipo from ovonic and it'll fit perfectly once you remove the battery thumb lever. I've just been running it (no jumping or tricks yet) around to get a feel for it. Tested speed limiters (50% is still extremely powerful so consider that if buying for a child), servo is responsive, trans/gears distribute power well, has great range, no whining like some have reported, controller sync can be tricky (car on then controller on, opposite for powerdown), etc. Takeoff is so powerful, if you full throttle it, it'll try to flip backwards (a redesigned/modded wheelie bar is probably a good idea at least at first to prevent it). So easy to wheelie and itll try to jump anything it drives over. Great tires, looks great. If you want to preserve your body longer, I suggest reinforcement (shoo-goo and gorilla tape hair dried is the most common practices). The ESC is a smart module so if you get a spektrum smart battery and smart controller (like the DX5 or DX5C) it will transmit telemetry to the remote (battery, speed, etc saving extra costs of sensors). For the price, $450 on Jan 19 2024, this is a great amount of fun. I've told all my friends that might be interested in the hobby.

Most durable? Nope
I got this truck because i heard the awesome things about it, and it looks nice... out of the box first 5 minutes were great just taking it easy at 50 - 75% . Then issues start happening. 2 rear axles shredded . that threw me off, never had an rc break so fast. after inspecting it seemed like the axles werent pushed in all the way in to the diff and shredded the inner driveshafts... i now had to get 2 new shafts , fast forward to getting it fixed up. Playing for 10 minutes and i hear grinding from my front diffs when i hit reverse, now i have to purchase another expensive part, keep in mind this rc already cost 500$ and only played it for under 20 minutes total. My experience with this truck wasnt great. Debating if its worth to fix it.

Worth every penny
I love the outcast 4s. It's fast, fun and stunts like crazy. I did end up breaking a shock tower and wearing out the servo saver but most factory servo savers suck anyway. I don't blame the shock tower since I beat the absolute crap out of the truck every run. Tons of nasty wrecks and finally broke it falling onto concrete trying to pull off a triple backflip and lawn darted into the pavement. Not the trucks fault, in fact im surprised I didn't break more. 11/10 would buy again. The truck is easy to work on and parts were affordable.

m2c chassis brace and the m2c motor mount this thing is a beast was doing this repeatedly No breaks I definitely suggest the m2c chassis brace you’ll never break a chassis and m2c motor mount is way beefier then stock and will save ur gears on hard landings. I have a Xmaxx 8s and I have more fun with this puts a bigger smile on me and my brother face

You have to keep your eyes open for the best price. Just after our son purchased the ARRMA for $450, the price shot up to $650 keep your eyes open. The ARRMA is a fine R/C.

Likes: are it is definitely fun to drive and is very powerful. Not for children for sure. Can do stunts any time. Dislikes are that the truck can flip on its head quickly if you use full throttle on pavement at low speed. You definitely need some type of body sliders to save the paint job. On reverse drivetrain sometimes makes whining noise. Not sure if that is normal. Overall it is a fun enjoyable truck. Not perfect but good overall.

This thing is a lot of fun on 3s or 4s. Less money then the traxxas xmaxx v2.
