Shark Air Purifier for Home, NeverChange, for Large Room, HEPA-Exceeding Filter, Captures Pollutants, Pet Dander, Dust, Odor, Smoke, and More, Odor Neutralizer, HP152, Charcoal

I looked and researched air purifiers for a couple weeks after our old one quit performing. I kept coming back to this Shark and bit the bullet and paid the $300 for it. After the first day of running it, I had zero regrets! It works perfectly! We have it in our living room which is off of our kitchen and we keep it on AUTO. When we’re cooking, the Shark will drop from 100 where our air was clean, the fan will kick up a notch or two, depending on how low the numbers went, and it really will clean the cooking orders out! We have allergies and this has helped a lot! We own a home that is over 100yrs old and I used to go around the house dusting all the time and I notice there’s barely any dust on my furniture. I also notice if I spray Febreze air freshener or fabric refresher that the Shark senses it and will kick on and suck my air freshener out. lol I love Scentsy and their wax melts so when I use the one that is closest to the Shark I will just turn the air purifier off for a while because it will sense it and drop to yellow or even red and kick the fans on and clean the nice smell right out of the living room where I have that one sitting. Not complaining, but sometimes I like to smell my Scentsy! Also, there’s different speeds that the fan will run on and even on the highest speed it’s not loud at all. My house has never smelled so clean. We have two 70lb boxers and it has helped tremendously with having pets. When I’m gone for hours and come home, I notice that I don’t smell any signs of owning a dog when I walk into the house and my husband said the same thing when he came home from work the first night we owned it. There’s a light up ring around the numbers on the front that will be green when it’s clean, turn yellow when it’s getting bad and turn red when it’s really bad. We leave ours on AUTO so we don’t have to do anything, the Shark does the air cleaning for us. The never change filter is huge plus! Those filters can be so expensive so it’s nice that we don’t have that expense a couple times a year! The only thing that I’d say would be a “con”, if you want to call it that, and we honestly don’t even care about it, is that air freshener thing on top of the machine. We have never smelled anything come from that and I doubt we will buy new replacement neutralizer cartridges for it. I don’t see the point of it. I don’t see, or smell rather, where it does anything.I hope I covered everything and my review helped you make a decision on your purchase. I’m just an ordinary person with pets and an older home that PAID $300 for this machine and did not receive it for free to write a review like others do with stuff. My review is just our honest opinion that I wanted to share because we like it so much. It works GREAT! Better than any air purifier that we have owned in 30yrs. If you’re looking to buy a new air purifier for your home, I highly recommend this Shark! We sat the empty box in the office and thought we would hold on to it for the 30 days that we have to return something to Amazon just in case we didn’t like it but we threw it away the first week we used it.

We have two dogs and three little kids, so clean air is a big deal for me. This purifier has been amazing. You can actually see it working with the display, which is super satisfying. It’s quiet, not too big, and does a great job, even during the wildfires we’ve had recently.It also helps a ton with cooking smells, which is a nice bonus. The best part for me is the 5-year filter! Not having to worry about changing and buying new ones all the time totally sold me. So worth it!

This purifier works well and I love that it displays the air quality percentage right on the front of it. It has multiple settings, and is pretty user friendly. It’s a little bit bigger and bulkier, and can get noisy if it’s on all the way.

Have had this for about 7 months now. It’s well-built and easy to use. If there is smoke or odor in the room, you can hear it working harder in response. Honestly I’m not sure if I can really feel a difference in the air, but I don’t really have any sensitivities that would make me feel much of a difference. Or maybe I’m just oblivious.I live in an old house with a dog, so things can get dusty in here pretty quick. I do think I’ve noticed less dust around the living room it’s running in.I’d give this thing a shot.

These air purifiers work great. I no longer see dust particles floating the sun streaks and I am breathing a lot easier. The only problem I’ve had is getting the bottom to stay on when moving them. They are supposed to click into place but don’t. Not sure why.

I bought it for the main floor (~1300 sq ft), and it actually works. You can feel the difference. Less dust, less mystery smells, less drama in the sinuses. The air quality display is weirdly satisfying—like a scoreboard showing how much less your lungs are suffering.• Setup? Plug in, press a button, boom.• Noise? Basically silent on auto. Gets louder when it’s working overtime, but honestly, I respect the effort.• Maintenance? The “NeverChange” filter is a huge win. I don’t need another thing in my life that nags me monthly.This isn’t a luxury purchase, it’s a survival tool. I have had a ton of different brands of air purifier and the downside was always buying new filters. With this unit you really don't have to worry about that anymore. I suffer from mostly molds and mildews, but lately seasonal allergies have been bugging me. I got one of these and put it in the bedroom, it's quiet enough for me to sleep with and it keeps the bedroom air fresh at all times. Even when there is smoke from cooking or the like in the rest of the house, the bedroom air is always very clean, and you can see the effects very clearly with the LED readout and color-changing display. The unit is large enough to cover the bedroom area of the house, and I am planning a second for the living room. Works very quickly, effectively and I would highly recommend. I would like to disclose a little bias in that I have been a Shark brand fan for many, many years, so I tend to gush a bit.
