So far so good. But it's in God shape 😇
This crate is being used for a puppy that was found in a dumpster at only 2 weeks old. Ive been taking care of him for past couple of months. Not really in my budget, but doing all I can for him. Amazon workers helped me to find the best crate I could for him to grow into and not worry bout him escaping. This was the suggestion. He seems to be adapting to it very well. Ill update with full view later but I'm so greatful for this crate. And this puppy had bad case of 2 types of mange and gave it to myself and my 4 other rescues. Luckily we got it treated in time. * good products through Amazon* ❤I've no complaints with this crate. Latches are good too.had to get used to them but they work.It is very sturdy and the 2 trays underneath was smart. I do keep a pad under the entire just incase he has an accident that goes between the 2 trays😉. Would I recommend this one. Yes absolutely!!!Well built. Extremely EASY to put together and it does have attatched screws that hold the bottom onto all 4 sides so it can be folded and stored to save space or for portability. Top doesnt open but honestly who needs to do that with a big dog anyway? But if that is the only thing that prevents you from buying . * you could easily modify it* either way , this one came in new and was obvious as it should be😉❤🙏Just want to stress to you readers....be careful about buying the ones that look cool or pretty but arent backed by Amazon. So this one here is covered and I believe you will love it. Hope this helps. Also, it's best to put them in these while young so thet adapt to them. Ive seen reviews with customers who have dogs that are high anxiouty. And were upset about their dogs hurting themselves in these.1st off , you dont keep big dogs or any dog in crates as a means to be gone all day. They are meant to help with training and yes while you may have to leave them for a time. However, No dog should be left alone for the entire day without bn let out to go do the deed.2. It's best to train slowly . As they have to understand its for a safety , * give them a treat each time you put them in to train and talk to them softly while showing love.3. If your dog has issues to the point of hurting his or herself over a crate then, You need to find a different solution. Mabe check out the calming treats on here. But this particular crate is definitely a good one and I would back the product 100%.This black puppy in the photos does have anxiouty from bn abandoned and it takes much time to work with him. But that is why I'm updating. He is truly now going into it on his own. ❤Feeling Greatful❤

The Dinosaur Cage
Owen is an 8 year old, 80 pound staffy. Owen was crate trained as a puppy, but he wound up developing a lot of anxiety around being contained. As an example: he once locked himself in our bathroom, so he ate a hole in it. Owen’s favorite snacks include: chocolate, crayons, pacifiers, and anything else silicone… or anything on the counter or table. After a series of concerning binge-eating escapades, we decided it was time to re-introduce Owen to crates. This crate checked all my boxes1) I wanted it oversized so that Owen had plenty of room to get cozy like the diva he is. Admittedly, I didn’t realize quite how BIG this would be… but he doesn’t seem to mind and we found a place to shove it.2) Owen could not escape from it. I knew that Owen would test the limits of anything we put him in, so I wanted to make sure his crate showed no vulnerabilities. I knew the second he realized how bendy the cheap wire crates were our mission would fail. He would destroy it, know he could continue to destroy it, and then be agitated trying to keep destroying it. This thing is STURDY. Sure, it arrived a little banged up and he’s put a couple dents in the rail, but it didn’t bend out of his way at all.3) I wanted pull out trays and wheels for easy cleaning of messes. This has come in handy as an “oh shit” tray to slide under him if he’s vomiting his treasures up in the house, as well. I love that this crate has two trays instead of one GIANT, cumbersome tray. Assembly was pretty straight forward, but definitely required two people.4) The door needed to be able to stay open and not be obnoxious. An open door policy is key to introducing the crate and letting the dog get comfortable with their new space. Any accidental lock ins would undo our progress. This door could use something to keep it open, but it hasn’t gotten stuck on its own.Owen is learning to love his crate, affectionately dubbed The Dinosaur Cage. His big bed fit nicely in it, and I’ll be adding some pillows around the edge to fill the gap. I hope to figure out a good fabric cover solution to make it cozier, as well as a table top cover to make it functional.

I absolurely love this crate!
This is by far the best crate I’ve ever used and I’ve used dozens. It’s much sturdier than wire crates and probably would hold up as well or better than the sky carrier. Assembly was much easier too. The crate arrives folded flat with the sides and doors already attached. Just unfold it screw in the included bolts. There are entry doors on the side and on the end so you can easily let the dog in and out whether it’s placed lengthwise or widthwise. Plus the entire top can be opened which makes it easy to place and remove a floor mat and dog bed. I got the brown color and it looks MUCH better than the typical wire crate. And the wheels make it easy to roll the crate across the room (my dog seems to actually enjoy riding around in it).The only thing I don’t like—the bottom isn’t solid. It’s made from bars similar to the ones on the top & sides, and there are gaps between the bars. Product pictures show dogs standing on the bare bars so it’s probably perfectly safe but I worry a dog might get a paw stuck or twisted in a gap. A bottom tray isn’t provided for the cage floor but I found our entry mat fits perfectly — problem solved. (If you need a tray to collect spilled water or accidents there’s room to put one on the floor under the cage)It’s not the cheapest crate out there but IMO well worth the price.

Got chewed but not broken
I moved and my dog started to chew when I left the house out of anxiety. I got a wire crate and she broke many of the wire brackets along with a tooth. A dog trainer recommended this one as 'indestructible' but she did bend one of the bars which wasn't easy to bend back but she didn't hurt herself. I would recommend this product.
