MokerLink 8 Port 10Gbps SFP+ Switch, Support 1G/2.5G/10G SFP Module, 160Gbps Bandwidth, Fanless Unmanaged Plug and Play Ethernet Switch

It works great for me and was very inexpensive. I had an 8-port switch for my home theater setup and ran out of ports, and this 16-port switch solved that problem. I can't comment on how well the switch works with a lot of clients under heavy load because with my home theater setup I only tend to stream a few things at once (at most), but it really solved my problem!

I've had four of these (the 4x2.5 and 2x10 model) for about two months now, and am very happy with them. I recently ran fiber to all of the bedrooms in my house (mine, and three kids), and I put one of these in each of the kids' rooms. The fiber comes into the room, and into one of the SFP+ ports. The kids' PCs have 10Gbe NICs connected to the second SFP+ port on each switch, and there are different devices in each room connected to the 2.5Gbps ports (a PS4, Nintendo Switch, and a WiFi 7 AP). In a few benchmark tests, I was able to fully saturate the 10 Gbps connection with four simultaneous 2.5Gbps connections with zero slowdown or contention. For such a simple (and cheap) unmanaged switch, this has performed admirably, in both synthetic tests and in real-world use.

Newest UPDATE: I’ve been back to the remote site and tweaked a few router settings/updates, restarted things and basically have a good once over to the setup, and ever since the switch has performed flawlessly. So I’m guessing it was a totally separate issue or simply a ghost in the system that has been resolved with the other factors. At this time back to happy with the switch, especially at the price point I paid. UPDATE: I’ve had this for a bit longer than the below mentioned 6 months and I am now getting regular disconnections of my wired backhaul satellite access points (aka mesh routers), haven’t had this before and the APs are acting fine in wireless backhaul, so am speculating the switch to be at fault, but can’t be for sure certain as it has been intermittent but repetitive. Since this is a used at a remote location it ticks me off, I didn’t purchase this to be “cheap” just needed a good value positioned unmanaged switch. Guess I’ll be going back to Netgear or TPlink as I need to trust the switch. It started out good, but has since become flakey. Oh well Had a need for a simple unmanaged switch in an older house with modest but fiber internet connection. Plugged it in and boom was running as expected, easy-peasy. This has fit the bill wonderfully so far (about 6 months). Even though it is fanless, (aka no noise) mine has stayed cool both at idle and at speed. Throughput matches a switch-less connection speed so can’t complain. Value is definitely there. Happy overall.

Good product. Does what it says for a great price. Using for whole house hub from fiber router to this switch out to each wired outlet in the house.

We needed 14 more drops. This fit the bill for our network speed and our limited budget. Solidly built. Clean connections. Plenty of cord on the AC adapter.

Arrived used with smudges on the item. When connected, no IP is assigned from the DHCP server. You have to manually assign IP addresses to the connected devices

Works great. Get 600mbps read from Synology NAS 10G Ethernet SMP+ to PC connected via 10G fiber. Very happy. Doesn't impact my 2.5G Ethernet + SMP switch which is connected via 10G SMP+ fiber to Mokerlink 10G switch.

Zero noise and stays fairly cool. Must have had a redesign since some of the comments about thermals. Easily can handle fully saturating 10Gbps. Will update review when fully populated.

Fallo y no funcionó lo pedí por que tenía una red con 2 switches y esperaba que mejorara con uno solo pero al hacer el cambio se perdió toda la red y al regresar a los switches anteriores se restableció la red de hecho lo estoy devolviendo por esa falla
