desertcart.com: Wiley X Airrage Sunglasses, Polarized Blue Mirror, Gloss Black : Sports & Outdoors Review: Great fit, Very versatile, Infidelity recommend for bikers! - First of all, I've got about 5 pairs of riding glasses in my saddle bags! One from Harley, a couple from Curvz's, and no name brand, and now these Wiley's. I have to say these are the most versatile of the bunch. I wear Oakley's day to day as my "non-riding" glasses but I hated switching between those and the riding glasses with the foam in them. And just wearing the riding glasses wasn't an option. Man it gets hot behind those lenses with the foam when you're not riding. So these were the next best option. I have a big head and I've seen some on here write reviews that state that they don't fit larger heads. I only have one little issue with them but honestly I think these fit the best out of any of my other ones. With the other glasses I'd start getting a headache about 2 hours in on a ride because of the pressure on my temples from the arms. With these Wiley's I don't feel any pressure at all, therefore no headaches! The issue I do have is the foam doesn't seal around my eyes as well as my Curvz's do. This allows some air in so I could see if you wear contacts where this might be a problem but I don't contacts so it's not a deal breaker for me. The fact that I can pull the foam frame and wear these as regular sunglasses is the selling point for me. Now while these are about 3 times the cost of the Curvz's I have, they are polarized where my Curvz's are not. This is HUGE if you're riding into the sun all day. Also, the extras that come with it were a surprise. The hard case is great and almost guarantees you won't break them if you use it. The cleaning clothes, neck lanyard, and head strap were great additions. All in I'd say these were a decent 4.5 stars but I'll round up since desertcart doesn't let us rate in increments. Review: Wiley X does it again!! - 6 years ago, I abandoned Oakley and bought my first pair of Wiley X sunglasses... I don't recall the model, but they were awesome. A little over a week ago now, I bought my 2nd pair of Wiley's. These guys know how to make a very durable, comfortable product. I mistreat sunglasses, watches, pretty much any item you'd label an accessory. Just stuff that can be replaced. With Wiley X Tactical or Recreational Eye Wear, I don't need to worry about it. I have sworn off Oakley, I can break those with a stern look. Below is my rating(s) for this particular model of Wiley's. Buy them. Wear them. Drop them. They'll be OK. You will not be disappointed with the purchase. * all ratings are on a 10 scale. 1 being low. Fit - 10 w/gasket, 9 w/out gasket Comfort - 10 (5 hours or less continuous wear) 9.5 (over 5 hours continuous) Style (as in fashion) - I don't care, but I'll give these a 10 Durability - 10 (historical) these are 8 days old, but I'll stand on that 10. Vision - 10 Nothing HD like, but I can stare into the sun while driving and not lose the road. Makes everything look like its just an overcast morning. Glare reduction - 10. See above, Vision. Easy to clean / maintain - 10 - w/out gasket. 7 w/gasket. Case and Accessories - 9.5. Far superior case to previous models. Bigger. A more burly zipper. The cleaning cloth is 3x larger than the last. Great Sunglasses, worth the price
These are great sunglasses. I had them for about 8 years, used them as my sunglasses for my motorcycle and my British roadsters (where I tend to look over the windshield) and at the range. I treated them well, but they were used daily. They never got a scratch and were the best sunglasses I ever had. And then I left them in a rental car on vacation. . . If you are looking for sunglasses for anything from driving in your car to riding on the highway these are them. They are a great buy.

Amazing Sunglasses, But A Couple of Things You Need To Know About This Model
I am a longtime fan of Wiley X glasses all the way back from military days, and especially appreciate that they are ANSI Z87.1 rated and can be used at my work where safety glasses are required. The removable facial seal is awesome for windy, dusty, sandy, or snowy situations. I have to remove one star due to an incomplete description on the listing. It does not indicate in the product description that the lenses are exceptionally low light transmission lenses (extremely dark) and that the lenses under the blue coating are brown and not gray like my other Wiley X models. Neither one of these is in any way a deficiency in the product, but also not my preference. Had this information been in the product description, I might have chosen another style and increased my satisfaction with the product I chose. If neither of these items is an issue for you, these glasses are typical of the high build quality, optical precision, and comfort I have come to expect from Wiley X products.

Great shades, and good looking
Great shades, and good looking. Fit is perfect, with a caveat. With some kinds of sunglasses, my left eyelash brushes the inner side of the lens and eventually wears away the coating. I've had that happen with Ray Bans and a pair of Serengeti's. The same thing happened with this pair of Wiley X, and I was afraid I was going to have to send them back. Fortunately, I didn't have to readjust them much on my nose to get them to fit properly (the rubberized grip really helps with this), but if you have this problem (and I understand it's fairly common), you should be aware that you may experience it with these sunglasses. Outside of that, they're great. Good vision, don't seem to tire your eyes, though I haven't had them on for an extended period of time.

love these
I have always been a rayban wearer, but when I saw these had a removable foam type liner for keeping out wind and extra light I decided on giving then a try and I'm so glad I did! They fit excellent!!! they are light and fit my face perfect..especially if you have a rounded type face...in the spring my allergies drive me crazy when mowing the yard or just going out on windy days, but with the liner it keeps any pollen from flying onto your eyes...great for motorcycles or boating..I use mine for range shooting since they have the safety rating...overall an excellent sunglass..after 3 weeks of using I bought another pair for back up...can't say enough about them!

Greatest glasses ever!!!
These are great, especially if you have a more oval shaped head. They aren't too wide temple to temple. Lens quality is fantastic, and more comfortable than many other brands. The pair I bought on Amazon was my second pair, my first pair lasted about 6 years before I accidentally broke the frame. I was so glad to find them at a decent price. The foam seal allows them to work great for riding the motorcycle with my open face helmet, and skiing in warmer spring weather. The ANSI-Z87 lens rating gives peice of mind for eye protection. I strongly recommend these.

Love These Glasses!
I love everything about these glasses, the look, the feel, the mirrored lenses, the quality, and the accessories it came with. I have a pair of my own that I purchased from a local Specs store for about 50% more than they are here, and my mother-in-law fell in love with them. She does paddling, and rides a Harley, so it seemed the perfect pair for her with the included foam eye guard and the head straps to keep it in place, so I ordered her a pair for Christmas and she loves them as much as I do! Good thing she lives 1500 miles away so it doesn't look like we are trying to be twins. Overall, just a wonderful product!

Nice glasses, they work
Nice glasses, they work. They don't fit as good or are nearly as comfy as i thought they'd be. I have several pairs of Oakleys, Maui Jims and Revo's and these aren't even close as far as comfort or quality of lens goes. All in all it was a good purchase.
