Good quality notebook
This is a nice quality notebook and being A5 it's a nice size and easy to hold but not being too large. The hard cover gives it a sturdy look and feel and the leather surface gives it a premium look. The paper is a nice thickness so I haven't found the ink in the pens I use to go through. Each page is lined and also has a place to enter a day and date at the top and there is also a piece of attached material to use as a page marker. At the back there is a folder which comes with some sticky tabs to attach to pages if needed. To finish it off there is a colour coordinated piece of elastic with a leather tab to wrap around the notebook to keep it closed when not in use. Overall I'm quite impressed with this notebook and would recommend it.

Much Better Than Expected
This notebook is wonderful! Okay, so I do have a bit of a thing for notebooks and this review will not be remotely unbiased from that perspective. I like writing, journaling, brainstorming and this notebook is probably one of the most luxurious notebooks I’ve ever had. This goes in the category of ‘posh notebooks for very important things’ and I love it!The cover is a nice and soft, fake leathery kind of effect in the most gorgeous deep green colour (I expect you can get a different colour if you want, but mine is my favourite colour in the whole world). It’s gloriously thick with tons of pages and when you open it up it smells like bookshops. The paper is a heavyish kind of weight, not that disappointing kind of paper that you hold up to the light and can see through. It’s substantial. The whole thing feels properly substantial. Especially at A4 size. Each page has a space for the date at the top and is lined. The creamy colour of the pages gives it a kind of old fashioned feel that I really like. In the back, there is a pocket and in the pocket there are some sticky tab things. I guess you could use these if you wanted to convert it into a sort of project book or needed sections. Given the size of the thing, you really could write a lot in here and I guess being able to section it up could be useful. If you used it for a journal for instance, maybe you could section up by months or something. Anyway, as you can probably tell, I am super pleased with this. I haven’t yet been able to decide what qualifies as important enough to go in it, but it is sitting there waiting for me to delight in it as soon as I do.

Impressive Looking Notebook
This notebook is really good. The paper quality is decent enough for my usage. I tend to write with a Berol Handwriting pen, which can be prone to bleeding on low GSM paper, but the 100 GSM paper provided in this notebook does seem to prevent bleed. The PU leather cover of the book gives it a touch of class. I opted to test the green one, which I would describe as a sort of emerald green. It feels premium enough. The pages also come with check boxes for days and date headers, so it can be used for journaling or reminding you when you took the note. There are also some included tabs for page marking. I tend not to use markers, but they felt like a nice little bonus to the package. The only buyer beware, and it is not a criticism, just a heads up, is that it is heavy for a notebook. 320 pages is a lot of paper, and the cover probably holds a chunk of weight too. It is good for home usage, but carrying it around adds slightly over half a kilogram to your load. The notebook is £14.99 at the time of review. Would I pay this? Honestly, I do not think this notebook is priced too high. True, you could buy notebooks for cheaper at a supermarket, even a hardbound one, but I think the nice-looking cover of this and the quality of the paper do justice to the price.

excellent quality notebook
At 19 x 25.5cm this is a B5 sized notebook which is the weird size between A4 and A5 and fairly common to notebooks. It’s actually a nice size to use for journaling as it gives a generous page size without being too cumbersome to wrangle when writing, personally it’s my preferred size for a journal and this is a very nicely made one.The leather outer feels supple and smooth with edge stitching and is attached to a hard board cover. The elastic closure is generous and has a sliding pen holder which takes a Bic biro well but might struggle with a larger barrelled pen such as a fountain pen. Inside the pages are of stitched booklet construction with smooth 100gsm paper in a warm cream colour which feels nice to write on. There are 6 sides for contents and then the main pages all have dark grey dot ruled lines of a generous width for writing. There is a pocket on the inside back cover for stashing loose bits and pieces which is very handy and the addition of a pack of little sticky tabs is a nice touch. This feels like a good quality, well made notebook and I will enjoy using it for journaling.

Faux leather, smaller than A4 journal.
The media could not be loaded. This review is for the NIRMIRO Leather Notebook Notepad, Large B5 Note pad Note Book Hardback with 320 Pages Premium Thick Paper, No bleed, Leather Journals for Women Men work Writing, Inner Pocket, Sticky Notes, Green. This is a nice enough notebook with many features, but IT IS NOT leather. There is no leather smell and the material it is made of feels plasticky. The description later states it is 'faux' leather but the main item description should reflect this in my opinion.I do like the other features of the journal itself, it has lots of pages, they are of a quality GSM, and there are thoughtful touches, such as the date and day option on each page. Just so we're clear, there are no perforations for the removal of pages, so this would have to be done carefully. The included tags are meh, they could be classier, but I do like the tension of the elastic but struggle to get a pen in the aperture on the elastic. If you are looking for a chunky B5 journal or notebook (a little smaller than A4) then this may be for you. I think it is a reasonable value item for £16.99.
