Other makers of spikes do not supply this shorter 450 length, due to restriction's in my location they proved to be perfect and more than fit for purpose. Very easy to erect, no problem's at all, they now support a 3ft heavy waney lap fence. Would be. perfect for use with pergola I plan to erect, so will be returning for more of the same. Reasonably priced also.

Good alternative to metpost
shorter than standard "Metposts" so easier to drive. Appears adequate for medium duty use.Galvanised finish so should last well

Bought 5 of these in preference to the Metpost 600 mm variety as I wished to lessen the possibility of hitting utility pipes/cables when erecting a .9 metre high boundary fence in my front garden.The spikes arrived, well packaged, within a few days of ordering.They were reasonably easy to drive in, and in a couple of cases take back out and reposition. I used a Metpost driving tool which seemed a little narrow but did the job. The bottom bolts on the spikes were a little inaccessible so I partiallytightened them before driving. At the end of the day my 1 metre high posts are completely secure, and the fence panels don't wobble.I can recommend the product to other DIY enthusiasts.

They are actually brown and not a reddish colour,which was a bonus.Just the size need,as was only putting up a 3` high fence.They are also very strong and sturdy.Great product with the benefit of having two bolts to tighten up to hold the post,which also allows for you to get the post completely up-right.

How do you review a fence post spike? My son said it did the job well. nice and strong and easy to insert and we were pleased to find this size. Arrived well packed and very quickly.

Decent quality and Easy to drive into the ground. Difficult to tighten bolts though.
Fast delivery. They were reasonably easy to drive into the ground, had to take them out a few times because they went in at a dodgy angle. Once in the ground was a bit difficult to access the bolts to tighten especially the bottom ones. Decent quality and good enough for the job though. Fence is still standing which is good!
