Tough 1 8' Braided Soft Poly Lead Rope

It is pretty, sturdy and doesn't slip like most materials, however, it's a little bit flimsy in certain aspects like it picks up sticks and seeds and the threading kinda pokes out but it is a strong rope and it hasn't let me down and it isn't showing signs of doing so in the future

When we let our miniature pony out in the yard to graze, we generally just leave a lead rope on him. After the first use of this rope, it had picks all over it from sticks or whatever else it could hang on and it was covered in grass that you had to pick out because the fibers seem to lock them in. It looked filthy after just one use. Needless to say this product is hanging on a hook in the barn and we’ll probably never use it again. Also the clasp on it is very cheaply made and probably would not stand up to a large horse. My advice is to just stick with a good quality cotton rope and you won’t be disappointed. I would stay away from this product.

I really like these ropes - I have 2 and will order more. The older one I have has lasted longer than a couple other big brand more expensive ones also purchased on Amazon. The ropes are very light weight and easy to tie, but still feel sturdy (my 2 horses are very small though). The colours are vibrant and beautiful.

Thought this was a cute lead for our mini donkey. Right out of the package the threads were pulling and snagging. Soft on your hands, bright colors. Terrible materials for an equine product.

My daughter used it, within the 5th time the part that is connected to the actual rope it’s self ripped apart. It was still usable but it made us nervous that it would rip when a leading a horse. A little bit later the actual snap came undone from the rope, when it was in a bag, don’t recommend using it could be dangerous especially with a young horse who gets spooked from the chain breaking off and runs away. Only part nice is the vibrant color and sturdy snap.

Very light weight but is that what you want in a lead rope?
