Wordly Wise 3000 Book 8: Systematic Academic Vocabulary Development

I have homeschooled for 7 years and this is the perfect program to increase vocabulary without being monotonous. It doesn't have a strong spelling component, but it can easily be added by the teacher. The words are challenging. If you have a child whose vocabulary/spelling is not strong, I would consider moving down a grade. I have my third grader (whose is a late reader and terrible speller) doing the second grade book and it's perfect.

great to help your child build vocabulary even if you dont do all the exercise you can use the words in the household.

The exercises are fine for what they are; reading comprehension, cross word puzzles, sentence scrambled. The word lists are on par for the grade level. We've been using Wordly Wise for years. I bought our book used. It came crinkled up a bit but in ok shape.

I am satisfied because the condition of the book was clean and the delivery was accurate.

These are great books for homeschooling. The child gets a lot of opportunities in each lesson to use each vocabulary word many times so they really get the meaning of it. Like they say... Use a word three times and you own it. A great learning tool.

It was great having a copy to keep at home so my twins could no longer use the "I left my workbook at school" excuse to get out of homework!! Well worth the money

i just bought a whole set of the Wordly Wise 3000 from grade 8 - 12 for my 8th grader study.I recommend for this book.

My kids asked for these books since they had them in school last year. I don't even have to tell them to do their work, because they love doing it on their own.

I like the exercises and example sentences and articles.
