Jakks Pacific 3DIT Mold Maker Children's Craft Kit

this was bought as a second attempt to get it right.The first 3DIT maker didn't work out,we took it apart and there was melted wax all over the insides we thought we had set it up wrong and as i had bought all the 3DIT modelling characters in an offer we thought would chance another machine.My eldest son had taken apart the machine and sussed out how the machine should work.When the new one arrived we followed the instructions and he could see the same thing was going to happen again because there was NO HOLE IN THE NOZZLE for the wax to pour out of into the mould.Once he had made a small hole it worked well. My youngest son was really pleased with the little figures he loves collecting lego/minecraft figures now he can make his own.

This is good and my daughter loves it but when you use about half of the wax in the top you have to load the next one to push it down so you could never do all the little men

Bit fiddly but once i helped my son he had a brilliant time making these

You open the box and everything looks OK. It rapidly goes down hill from here. After waiting 10 minutes or so for the light to go green and it to heat up ready to inject into the mold you pull the lever to find you may, if you are lucky, get to fill one of the three mold slots.After just one cast the thing blocks up and you have to wait a further 10 to 15 minutes for it to cool down before you can open the door, remove the mold and clean away the plastic that has set far too rapidly and blocked the funnel that feeds the molds. You then try again and the same thing happens. Even when you do manage to get a full cast on one of the pieces I have found the newly formed plastics break apart easily and would not stand up to rigors of children playing with them.It took us over an hour to get all of the molds filled and once we actually opened them up and removed the parts they were either not fully formed or had formed but they were split on corners etc.My children are massively disappointed, so much so this is the first time I have ever reviewed a product on Amazon. Please do not make the mistake I did, do not buy this product. It simply does not do what it is advertised to do!

Christmas present & disappointed!The concept is great but there isn't enough pressure in the chamber so you end up with multi coloured models as you have to use a new wax stick (all of which are different colours) to push the one you're using out of the chamber and into the model! Either more wax needs to be provided or there needs to be an additional tool to help push all the wax through!

My son was desparate for this and got it for Christmas. Unfortunately the device inside is a little hit and miss and despite following the instructions to the letter we had used all the moulding sticks just to make the first model. We had brought refill packs as well but havent tried to use it again.

DON'T BUY, I wanted to give it no stars, the wax doesn't come through properly or if at all, when it does it goes hard before it gets into the mould, and it heats up so the light goes green to use, you then try and put the wax into the mould and nothing happens it then starts heating again so you can't use it while the red light is on, ive read all the reviews about the quality and issues people have with it and agree with them, highly disappointed and as it was an xmas present it's out the 30 day return period but I'm going to contact the seller.I don't understand why the wax doesn't come through properly
