Works well
Plugs in nicely, have to sort of wiggle it a little bit though to make it snug. Won’t plug all the way in if you have a case around your surface, which I think they note that. But not an issue for me as I only use this and need all the extra usb and cable spaces when I work from home - ie no travel case needed when it’s just a desktop. Good value for the money. Just the right Amt of usb ports and glad I got the one that had one spot for the gmi

I have an older surface (pro 6) that I love. I've order several other docking stations etc. This is the only one that worked

Expands the Uses of Your Surface Pro
We are all using our Surface Pro's for more tasks than we originally designed for. With this adapter, you can add a full-size monitor, additional USB ports, and slots for the two major SD cards with one device. While all those available connections will definitely be useful, my one remark would be I would replace at least one of the USB Type-A ports with a Type-C port. That type of USB port is slowly becoming the predominant type used by all electronic devices. Where this docking station will definitely be useful, adding that Type-C port would round out its abilities and make it more so.

excellent addition to my surface pros
since they got rid of almost all usb ports, it has become essential to have something that accommodates more than one usb cord. This sits neatly along the side and allows me to have multiple corded items connected to computer. no issues. no problems.
