So far so good 😊
We're in Central Florida in our big air conditioner is wearing out so we were using two portables in the house to compensate but they weren't cutting it. I ordered this one and decided to go with the 12,000 BTU and we stuck it in the window where the portable was venting. It's been on about an hour and you can definitely tell the difference in the humidity level and comfort level. This is the first day so I'll update later if I need to. It's covering a living room dining area and small kitchen in a double wide mobile home. We just couldn't get any relief and now we actually have some. I love Frigidaire air conditioners I've had them before and in fact had bought a 24,000 BTU 220 volt from Amazon a few years back and we had that in Wisconsin at our country property and it was basically in the field and it would get up to 125 in the house easy without AC. Once we got it hooked up it was like sitting in the snow bank in the winter everything shrunk and crawled back up 😂. I'm hoping this will make the difference enough that we have time to fix the big AC or replace it. If everything works out I may just leave it there It is quiet. It's not whisper quiet but we can have a conversation and it's two feet from the dining room table. It doesn't have that big light dimming sound that the old ones had when the compressor would kick in. It wasn't difficult to put in it actually is fairly light for two 60-year-olds (men- not that that makes a difference). We bought the 12,000 unit for under $400 so that was a huge plus right now. I panicked at first cuz it seemed like it was splashing some water, but after looking at some of the reviews I just took a little piece of cloth in poked it down in the corner on the side and hung it down about 8 in the water wicks right out of the air conditioner. That wasn't a deal breaker for me you have to be smarter than the problem and not get all bent out of shape over it. Right now in our area the temps have been sitting over a hundred with the heat index over 110 in the humidity sitting around 95 to 100 so this is definitely a good thing so far. It was 78 in the house when we put it in and right now it's 72 and dropping. Even though portable air conditioners have a hose on them the bulk of the heat is still encased in that cover so it's still radiates heat. After putting this window unit in you could tell the major difference right off the bat. UPS delivered it without a scratch on the box. It got here a couple days early. I definitely recommend it especially for the price and the brand name. When I bought that larger one a few years back the first one didn't work right and I had absolutely no issue exchanging it through Amazon and the seller that I had at the time. I've honestly never had any problem returning things from Amazon and actually have only had to do that for a few things. It sure beats driving to the store in the heat trying to find one that's probably overpriced because it's in Florida. If I were to buy this unit off the shelf down here it would have been about $300 - $400 more just because of the location we're in. So getting this one with free shipping under $400 was awesome. I may get another one in fact haven't decided yet. I wish Amazon would allow comments so we could answer questions right on the site instead of going through that question and answer process and then trying to find it again. So basically it's good it works and it's inexpensive along with being a trusted brand name. For those of you techies it does have Wi-Fi capability. Update August 26, 2024 This thing keeps our entire house cool and it cycles on eco mode. It doesn't run continuously. Florida mid to high 90s and it's so comfortable in the house. We've shut the central off and the power bill already went down by $100 for just part of the months use. Well worth it 😄

AC Wi-fi
This AC is very good, the temperature control is good, and you can use the app to control the temperature from the phone, that was a plus with Wi-Fi connection, the size is perfect for winddowns and to cool my entire apartment. The downside is that is noise and loud, good price and works perfect.

So far so good.
Well, the cooling season for year one is just about over for this little unit. I bought a three-year extended warranty because my luck with today's appliances and technology stuff is you're lucky if it makes it a year. It has performed quite well, it is quiet and does a very nice job for what it was designed for. I just hope it outlast the extended #Warranty.

Extremely loud
Okay so the thing definitely cools the room off very much so. It works like it should. The remote control is not lighted so I always got to turn the lights on to operate it. It also doesn't have the textile feel that you would remember where the buttons are. On eco mode which I use a lot. There's a real issue with it. There's no light on the AC unit itself that lets you know that it's on. When it's on eco mode it will cycle off and in the morning if it's off I will forget that it's even on. I probably would have gave it five stars if it was a little bit more quieter. It sounds like an AC unit in a freezer Warehouse. Holy hell this thing is loud. Even on the lowest blower setting it is the loudest White noise you've ever heard. Some people like that I guess it drones out the noise outside, but for me I would have liked it a little bit quieter. Since it's an inverter style air condition it does have a water collection near the fan. Well there's a problem with that. The water gets stale and nasty and next thing you know you're constantly catching a cold. All that moles flies back into your room. So I did a very simple thing and drilled a couple of holes on the bottom of it, but be careful not to hit the condenser as you don't want to lose the freon and destroy your air conditioner. Now some will say that I shouldn't have done this because it's a way it keeps the AC unit cool on the outside. Nonetheless it worked right this summer without any mold. There was a huge recall with the Midea u-shaped air condition because they did not put any drainage and people were getting sick. Just to recap, the remote control is not lighted and hard to find the buttons at night. The air condition is extremely loud. There is no indicator on the air conditioner to tell if it's on or off during the economy mode cycling process. Other than the faults it is a very capable air conditioning of freezing you out of your room. The room that it's in is 15x12 with 8 ft ceilings on the second floor.

Great window cooler
I needed a second windows cooler for a large bedroom - yeah upwards of 105 degrees in the New Mexico summer heat. So far this is working great and I keep it in ECO mode with COOL. This keeps the room at a nice 73 degrees which is nice n cool and I have four dogs in the room. without this it gets too hot but with this on ECO mode and cool the bill has been reasonable and the dogs and I comfortable. Easy to install the app and hook up to Alexa. I have also programmed to keep the same temp throughout the night. It works great.
