Plastic rings are poor quality
The tags themselves are okay. The rings that come with them are cheap quality plastic. The larger rings are too big to fit in the hole drilled on the end of the tag. I had to use pliers to pull hard enough to force them on.

Too small
The house had tags on things but they were cardboard and you know what happens to cardboard, especially when over the years it might get wet once in a while. So I bought these and installed them. They're metal, and will last a while, I'm sure. However, they are pretty small, so someone looking for a tag could have trouble finding them.I'd suggest even making them as large as a 3" x 5" index card.

Excellent
I really like these tags. I installed them on 2 hose bibs and the main water shutoff in my house. I use these valves so infrequently that whenever I would need to turn off something, I would always forget which valve was for which purpose. Now that I have these tags in place, it's so easy and takes out any guess work! Also, the dual rings included lets the tag hang parallel to the valve (as opposed to perpendicular), which is a REALLY nice feature.

Great for every home owner, especially landlords
If you ever have a water issue in your home, you will be happy you bought this set. Great little tags you can easily spot from across the room make it super easy to find the valve you need right away. Easy to install and the piece of mind knowing that the mystery is gone and anyone who can read can shut the right valve with a couple minutes of training.These are a great housewarming gift idea. Pair with a set of circuit breaker labels and you'll be giving something legitimately useful instead of some random knickknack.

Great tags for gas an water pipe labels
These are needed but some of the tags were pre-labeles and I wanted to label my own since some of the pre-labels didn't really apply or were needed.

Cheap, overpriced junk
I paid over $20 for a half dozen of these cheap tags with plastic rings that easily snapped when trying to assemble.
