Free delivery and returns on all eligible orders. Review: More Crank Bros quality - These are my third pair of Crank Brothers pedals ... I have them on each of my bikes and have been using them without problems for at least a decade. I started with the original 'eggbeaters' which are still in use on my mountain bike. The forerunner of these Candy's went on my first hybrid (on which I've ridden thousands of km), and these Candy 1's have been fitted to my first eBike. They arrive nicely boxed (good enough to be gift wrapped if needed) together with a set of the cleats. Note that these are not interchangeable with SPD-type cleats/pedals. I've done a few hundred kilometres on these and they have performed faultlessly. I expect them to continue for years. Unlike the original eggbeaters, you can only clip into the Candy's on two faces of the pedal, but the connection is secure and the float - determined by the cleats - is more than enough to avoid knee problems. The cleats tend to wear and I've probably replaced a couple of sets over the last decade, but that's a small price to pay for the ease of engaging them and heir mud/much shedding capabilities. I walk around in the mud in my cycling shoes and have had very few problems with them being too clogged to engage. When, or more likely IF, they pack up and wear out I'll buy another pair. Highly recommended. Review: Quality product - Crank brothers are the only pedals I will use, I used them for my road, bike and gravel, bike and mountain bike and these were purchased for my indoor trainer cannot fall fully serviceable ## Features - One piece composite body - Spindle Forged scm435 chromoly steel - Release Angle 15° to 20° - Inner bearing Bushing Outer bearing Cartridge - Weight 272g per pair ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0743JXP19 | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | 69,984 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) 333 in Pedals | | Bike Type | Cyclocross Bike, Mountain Bike | | Brand | Crankbrothers | | Brand Name | Crankbrothers | | Colour | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,354 Reviews | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 5 Years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00641300161697 | | Included Components | 1 Pair of pedals plus cleats | | Item Dimensions L x W | 8.4L x 7W centimetres | | Item Type Name | Pedals | | Item Weight | 294 Grams | | Item weight | 294 Grams | | Manufacturer | Crankbrothers | | Manufacturer Part Number | 16169 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 2 years manufacter | | Material | Composite , Steel, Chromium-molybdenum steel | | Material Type | Composite, Steel, Chromium-molybdenum steel | | Model Number | 16169 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Style | Candy 1 | | Product dimensions | 8.4L x 7W centimetres | | Style | Candy 1 | | Thread Size | 110 | | UPC | 641300161697 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Crankbrothers - **Colour:** Black - **Item weight:** 294 Grams - **Material:** Composite, Steel, Chromium-molybdenum steel - **Product dimensions:** 8.4L x 7W centimetres ## Images ![CRANKBROTHERS Unisex's Candy-1 Pedals - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61RYbu-Cg2L.jpg) ![CRANKBROTHERS Unisex's Candy-1 Pedals - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61vU3+r9w6L.jpg) ![CRANKBROTHERS Unisex's Candy-1 Pedals - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/613Pp8Ah2RL.jpg) ![CRANKBROTHERS Unisex's Candy-1 Pedals - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61kzfvaQaLL.jpg) ![CRANKBROTHERS Unisex's Candy-1 Pedals - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61QTGfsI83L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Pattern, Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Do you use normal SPD cleats with these** A: No, they come with their own cleats.
