Lots of great recipes for delicious ice cream.

So I gave this four stars instead of five because the ice cream was really tasty but it's a little bit more complicated to make that I anticipated. Also, for the money, I thought it was gonna come out like Dairy Queen. It was maybe a little bit softer and not really firm enough to stay twirled in a cone. I bought it as a Father's Day gift for my significant other and he still loved it. He prefers soft serve.😊

This 50 page pamphlet (I wouldn't call it a book) has 38 recipes and 12 pages of information. The pamphlet that came with the machine has 25 recipes and 7 pages of information, in smaller font with what appears to be a similar amount of information. Although I have yet to read through either pamphlet, as a first impression the additional or different recipes, or information, in this one don't seem to be worth $9.99. I grade it a D, a marginally passing grade, and will probably keep it, as "variety is the very spice of life," but I'm not happy. I blame myself, in large part: I should have studied the product web page more closely. One thing I try to remember when I write a review, if I had it to do over again knowing what I know now, would I still buy it? Probably not. I may update this review after further reading and possible actual use of some of these recipes.
