For bitter lovers absolutely yes
I just received this tea today, it tastes great! I steep it for over 5 minutes and then again a second cup same leaf. I never take the leaf out I'm so bitter! I love it. If you like bitter this is what you want. I can't wait to pour it over ice in the summer. I like bitter beer, pilsner and ipa and so on, so this is my healthy alternative. Calming, relaxing and focusing with this tea, great mood.

Use each twist twice!
As reported, this tea is super bitter. I have been drinking it โ and enjoying it โ by adding a spoonful of cinnamon creamed honey. It does curb my appetite a bit and Iโm anxious to see if it has a positive effect on my cholesterol. Time will tell.

This is exactly what I was looking for!!!
I've wanted to buy this tea for years, and I finally cracked and did it! This tea is exactly what I was looking for! It has a really bitter flavor, but that is how it is supposed to taste ("kuding" translates to "bitter needle"). I'm guessing that the previous comment about a smokey flavor was referring to the intended flavor. If you are a bold person in search of a new, daring tea, try this out!!Also, I'm a biochemist and need to nerd out for a second. Kuding tea has a caffeine substitute called Theacrine that gives you a cleaner boost than caffeine. Are you excited now? You better be.

it's what you expect
This was the first "ku ding tea" that I bought, and it was good. I have since compared it with more expensive brands and it holds up well. The quantity was enough for me to make ~25 cups with it.
