Solid knife
Quality manufacturing and design you expect from Klein for a reasonable price. Smooth action with a solid blade lock. Sharpens well and holds an edge for a decent amount of work. Can't go wrong with this purchase.

Great budget knife
I had to try one of these when I saw the Sand color, I just love it. Not sure why Sand isn't a more popular color for scales. It's styling is like 2 popular knife brands had a baby :) I opted for the more standard drop point. D2 is a tough enough steel and more than adequate for this price range so I'm fine with their choice, especially for my intended purpose of a true EDC "beater" blade. If I lose it or damage it, not much harm is done to my wallet. The amount of options are very good as well, there should be a blade type and color for everyone. The axis-type lock is smooth and the blade drops freely. With the hole being more narrow than a Spydie it isn't as intuitive to thumb-flick, with reverse flick being a little easier for me. But the axis wrist-flick is just as good as BM. If you've wrist-flicked and drop-closed a Griptillian, it's pretty much identical. The biggest weakness here is going to be the lock springs similar to BM. Time will tell how well they hold up, and if the springs will be made available or are they maybe even compatible with BM?. I may take it apart just to find out. My scale says 2.8 oz, the exact same as Manix 2 LW. The clip is nothing special and kind of shallow but slips on my pocket fine and stays put. I don't get the impression it will eat pockets. The jimping isn't the best, the texture isn't the grippiest, and it's no designer steel, but I'm pleased with these compromises to keep the cost down.Being budget-friendly, my initial impression is very good. Klein brings to mind tools for actual work, not safe queens, so it seems like a wise choice for them to enter the "working man" price range of knives.Pics included for size comparison.

Outstanding Knife!!
I love almost everything about this knife. The action breaks in beautifully. It takes a screaming edge. Don't get me wrong it comes sharp out of the box but it can get much shaper. There are only 2 reasons I'm giving it 4 stars.1: The texture on the scales needs improvement. They're a bit suggested more than actually there.2: Klein stamping their name on something and it being instantly worth 20% more is BS. Klein needs to take a step back on that. Conclusion:This is a great knife at a slightly inflated price that will service you well. Improve your scales(the plastic part) as you desire. Be careful if your hands are wet.

Tried and true brand
Drop point blade is thick and razor sharp. Locking mechanism is well engineered. Plus it looks good 😊

Awesome knife!
The media could not be loaded. This is my new daily knife, nothing short of awesome! The actuating mechanism is very smooth & properly tuned, only one hand is required to open or close it. The blade is pretty sharp! The looks, well you can see for yourself. It took a couple of days for the clip to loosen.

It’s a Klein Tool LOL…
ELECTRICIAN/DIYer/edc collector/Tool addict LOL - Bought the ‘clip’ point version - wanted the ‘Tanto’ but, for some reason, the ‘clip’ is the only way I could buy it in NY, no biggie. Klein is the major tool brand for my trade, and rightfully so, as I do not think they are ‘The Best’ next to Knipex, Wera, Wiha, et, they can take a beating! ESP their hand tools! This is my new work knife (I carry a utility blade in my pouch) but for the times I need to cut something and don’t have my pouch strapped on, or just need something to lightly pry, or get into a tight spot, is what this will be used for….Wish it was a G10 handle, at least, this seems like some very hard, but very light, HD plastic. That is my only gripe, but again, I am using and abusing this knife. We shall see!
