Much better than you think it will be
So what the heck is this stuff? The can is filled with salted, blended chicken pate spread. It does NOT have a strong taste. It goes well with fresh bread, and I've had it for lunch with cheese or a thinly sliced tomato. You can find it in some grocery stores, especially national US stores that offer great value (like Amazon). I keep some on hand to eat for lunch, and I would serve it to guests if I know that they eat meat. I've not tired the other varieties... just chicken. Spicy chicken is great too, and is not very spicy.

Bit expensive, but worth it
Just delicious. I grew up back in my country eating argeta on bread and when I get nostalgic, I just ordered it from Amazon. Yum.

Tastes like pork
I can't find chopped chicken liver in a can, like we had when I was a kid. So, tried to find something similar.I refrigerated the can before I was going to use it; some other reviews suggested it was foamy. It is very soft. I think the refrigeration helped. It tasted pretty good. But, tastes like pork liverwurst, not like chicken. It's expensive and nothing like I was hoping for. But that's on me.

Foamy Chicken Goodness
This stuff is...weirdly good. The flavor is great, don't get me wrong. It tastes like a roasted chicken with herbs. It spreads evenly and nicely on anything you want to put it on. The can is compact yet sturdy. However, the big thing about this is the consistency. It's...kinda like a very dense foam. Think like a whipped cream cheese that's had time to warm up but...spongier. At first, it weirded me out a bit. But then I realized that I spend most of my time eating like a WWI soldier living in a dilapidated trench and I got over it. Because, at it's heart, the stuff is good. If I looked at the ingredients, I know it would probably have "mechanically separated chicken", which some people refer to as "pink goo". But frankly, I don't mind that because at least nothing on the chicken is going to waste. So yeah, it's got a bit of spongy/fluffy consistency going for it. But it tastes like roast chicken, goes great on homemade multigrain bread, and costs like $3.50 for four days of lunches. So I recommend it. Get you some chicken foam and chow down, baby.

The best chicken spread around
I was happy to find it on Amazon. I've been looking for it in specialty stores for twice the price. Excellent value and excellent flavor.
