Pretty Solid Wheel. Bearings needed easing. BUY RIM TAPE!
For a machine built rim, a pretty solid item. Arrived in true and round. Does NOT include rim tape, and note that spoke nipple holes are NOT countersunk, so use a thicker rim tape. As others have mentioned, I had to loosen the bearings a bit to get smooth rotation (13mm cone wrench, 17mm locknut). I purchased a rear wheel of this type from this vendor about two years ago, and worried that once the spokes relax from the build, I might lose true. Didn't happen, after a few hundred miles and much rough pavement. So I have hope for this wheel, but I'll put it on the truing stand in a month or so just to check.

great look, excellent bearings, perfect fit
that pretty much says it all. it's a great replacement, and I think anyone who buys it will be equally as satisfied. as with all wheels this was not 100% trued but it was damn close and it's gonna be the best combination of quality and value.

After 2 years my wheel has to be replaced
I built a Beach Cruiser bike for my daughter using this wheel. The bike sat inside my house for several months without being risen when I noticed what looked like rust on the spokes. Then one day I noticed one if the spokes snapped. I thought that was really strange. I have had bikes for years without breaking a spoke. After a few more months if sitting in my house I realized four mire spokes have snapped. The only option now is to replace the wheel. I'm very dissatisfied.

size of rim and tire
a 26" x 1 3/8" tire does not fit on this rim, this rim's diameter was to small, had to return item
