It is always a roll of the dice when purchasing a product from an unknown manufacturer but the pricing and specs on this battery-powered trimmer sealed the deal for me. I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this purchase because it has been an excellent product so far. Since I have only owned and used the trimmer for one month I cannot comment on its long-term capability or durability. The two included batteries have insured I get the yard work done on time and the product performance has really been better than expected. The only negative for me to report is the included "safety/handling harness," which is truly terrible in both design and function. Not a deal-breaker since it can be easily replaced--which is what I did using simple clip-on straps I had in the garage--but upon unboxing it immediately caused me to wonder if I had just made another bad online purchase decision. Fortunately, the product performance, ease of use and light-weight outweighed that minor initial negative impression. Fingers crossed that product longevity becomes another feature that I love!

Works great, as long as you understand it will not cut thick branches; I would say just under 1/2”, max; for softer woods. But that being said, it is very well made and was easy to use, with very long battery run time.

Very sturdy. Good length. Blades work very well. Good battery strength. Used for about 40 mins on one charge and it still felt strong. A little heavy. Good maneuverability. Strap helps with balance. Also looks good.

It’s a good tool for home use. It works well for trimming standard hedges and branches that aren't too thick. The best part is that it’s cordless and comes with two batteries, allowing you to work for longer periods. The extension pole is also a great help for trimming high areas without needing a ladder. The downside is that it isn't very powerful, so it struggles with thicker branches. Also, when used with the extension pole, it starts to feel a bit heavy after a while. In summary: it’s a good option if you’re looking for something practical and affordable for basic garden maintenance, but it’s not designed for heavy-duty jobs.

Great tool! I thought the length would be a little too much to handle, but it actually works quite well even for short bushes. The adjustable head makes it easy to get around tall vegetation, and gives you a clean, rounded look. Easy to use, cuts, well, and battery last a good amount of time.

Admittedly, I was suspect when I ordered this trimmer. I've used it three times now to trim in excess of a dozen very large bushes and smaller shrubs. I wanted to give this a workout before writing this review. I found this tool to be surprisingly excellent. Not only does it do a fine cutting job, the ability to vary the extension length makes trimming kind of fun. I'm a DeWalt guy, so I find favor with the black and yellow colors. But more importantly, you get two batteries. Each of the batteries gives you a very long cutting duration. I trimmed the 12+ plants without once draining a battery. The overall quality is more than I expected. The price was right -- the tool functions as advertised -- and its functional design works well! I give this one a golden buzzer!

I bought this to clear a path in the woods which was overgrown by rag weed, golden rod and briers. It did an ok job but if you get more than a few branches in between the cutting blades at once , it will stop the cutting action. Don’t think that it will cut a branch just because it fits inside the cutter. Soft wood and smaller branches works ok but forget about cutting Rhododendron. This will not cut anywhere near as good as an electric hedge cutter. The versatility it gives you over an electric cutter was my reason for buying. It gets quite heavy after a short period of time. The strap that comes with it is junk. Would I buy it again? Probably. The price was right . Made well. Works ok when cutting things on the ground but not great. Bottom line, it needs more power. Don’t know if any of the other brands provide any more power. If so , that would be the one I would go with.

I read reviews for several long handled hedge clippers and wasn't impressed with any of them. This one had limited reviews and I decided to try it out. I was more than pleased with the results. I used it today on several bushes, including an overgrown mass of hyacinth that is about 20 ft in length and over 7 ft high. This clipper extended to the longest point and I was able to trim it with relative ease. The adjustable clipper head allowed me to trim the highest point in a straight line. I also trimmed 4 full grown burning bushes, 2 very large rhododendrons and some miscellaneous shrubs. It took me about 45-60 minutes total on 1 battery with charge remaining. That was surprising and a bonus. If I had any complaint at all, and its more of a observation, it's that the whole unit can be a bit weighty if you use it long enough without a break. I'm 69 yrs old and weigh 150 lbs and my arms felt like I had lifted weights for the first time in 40 yrs. Not overwhelming but I think it's par for the course for any if these extendable hedge cutters. I will update after I've used this for an extended period for endurance. For now my first impression is its worth the cost.

Wasn't sure i could handle a hedge trimmer. But this one is light, blade is sharp and the angle can be changed quickly/easily . The telescoping pole was tall enough with lots of room to spare. Two batteries is appreciated. Trimmed 24 cedar hedges (8ft tall) with only one battery and cutting was nice and clean. Wish the blade was another 4 inches longer so that i could have trimmed the entire top of the cedars without getting up on a ladder. But it was still easy enough. Also trimmed the front shrub garden (all less than 3ft tall) and the trimmer worked just fine. Very happy with this purchase!
