Versatile and compact USB-C smartphone audio interface
Very useful product for 2 track audio recording in a USB-C smartphone. I use it with a Huawei P30 Pro, and works perfect. The XLR/TS combo connectors, allow for microphone or instrument level signals, and have a preamp for both. Is not hifi grade, but it's silent enough for basic purposes. Additionally, there are 2 line level in ports (1/8" connectors) in each channel. The incoming level of both, is controlled in the external device (synth, CD or mp3 player, etc). This means that you can record 4 signals, mixed to a 2 track recording: 2 mic or instruments, and at the same time, 2 line devices. The fact that it uses a 9V battery is an advantage. Otherwise, it would drain the cellphone internal battery. Only downside is the construction: plastic on the flimsy side.

Did not work at all with any iPad Pro audio capture apps we use; only Android.
Extremely disappointing that Saramonic did not adequately test their firmware for compatibility with popular iPadPro video capture apps that work just fine with other brands of USB-C audio interfaces. Gain knob too sensitive at the low end. No gain control at all over the headphone output, which can make it un-usable. Record mode was not stable, play mode did not work at all.
