SeaQuest Tenkara Rod kit 1

Waste of money. Opened the tube and multiple pieces of rod in there loose. Not an extendable or even functional fishing pole. Was in a sealed plastic sleeve, did not look like a return. Rather it looks like someone shoved a bunch of random section in the tube just to get rid of them. Unfortunately did not open until after return window had passed.

Update in field review: I've taken this out now three times or so. I still consider it a 4 star rod. But to me this really should be considered a microfishing rod at tge length it is. It is quite soft. I had a size 10 fly on that had a wet fly hook, and was struggling to get good hook sets on bigger fish, granted all were Cutthroat, which can be a bit harder to hook given the extra teeth they have. I would say fish 6-8 inches and smaller are ideal for this rod. I wouldn't use any tipped over 6x. Original review: For reference I have 11 other rods from this, two dragontail, six japanese rods, 2 from nissin, one gamakatsu and suntech, and two shimotsuke. Oh and two keiryu rods. I've been fishing tenkara for 9 years. I've owned many others, but sold them if I didn't like them. I got the SeaQuest Tenkara 6:4 6'9" rod. I haven't had a chance to fish with it yet. I bought it with the hope that it could be a microfishing/small fish tenkara rod. I was really hopeful that it would be 10 pennies or less, and it is a 10 penny rod. Which I think is a good penny rating for the purpose I wanted. Here are the stats of mine: Length - 204.8cm/6'8.6" Collapsed length - 51.6cm/20.5" Handle length - 19.8cm/7.8" Pennies - 10 Effective Rod Number - 0.61 Rod Flex Index - 4.9 Moderate/mid-flex Weight w/o rod cap - 30gr/1.06oz I don't plan on using anything above 7x tippet. I saw on another listing that the manufacturer doesn't recommend more than 2lb line. I'll update this once I've fished the rod. The handle allows for roughly two and a half positions. The cork is decent, and actual cork, not a veneer over foam. I'll try to update this after fishing it a bit.

Noch nicht ausprobiert. Hat aber beim Auspacken einen soliden und hochwertigen Eindruck gemacht. Mehrere Ersatzspitzen zusätzlich dabei.
