Review: This easily applied Home Ceramic Spray Coating Kit works quite well, with good/clean surface prep. - Excellent Home Ceramic Spray kit! While this type of ceramic coating may not last as long as some of the better expensive automotive-type coatings, its ease of application, effectiveness on home surfaces (i used on American Standard Americast white porcelain enamel sink), and compatibility, make it an excellent choice. Surface prep is crucial, as it will not correct or remove stains, but if applied to cleaned surface per the easy followed instructions, will result in streak-free, slick surface. Any imperfections not corrected by surface prep, will show through. Dries in approx 15min, but instructions say full cure 2hrs. I applied 2 coats w/full cure between coats.Need adequate ventilation. It works! Water beads like new sink! Will see how long it lasts. I used medium and extra-fine finishing pads from Harbor Freight to remove heavy brown/tan stains on my sink as prep, as all other recommended cleaners did not work. Recommend 5 stars.

Don’t use it over another product and blame it for the streaks. CLEAN YOUR SURFACE WITH RUBBING ALCOHOL first. It’s also good to use the cloth that comes with it or exactly like it. There is a reason they include that cloth! Don’t wash the cloth with fabric softener, I use vinegar for softener for my bath towels and dish towels and this cloth. Update: I tried the ZEP that another reviewer mentioned and ZEP works very well for removing fingerprints and it shines bright until you touch it with fingers! It is an oil and it attracts fingerprints. ZEP is only advertised for stainless steel and metal. Ceramic Spray is for many things and is a very good product. It resists fingerprints on stainless steel, wood, glass and doesn’t streak. I like both products and will continue to use both for different things. The Ceramic Coating Spray Kit does Shine, Seal & Protect everything you use it on. Zep shines stainless steel without buffing but needs to be applied every day. I use it for my stainless steel garbage can because it cleans as it shines but never on my good appliances that I want to protect and shine and resist fingerprints for days, even weeks if you live alone.

This ceramic coating kit is really the best I have ever used. I did my refrigerator and my appliances with this three or four days ago they have no fingerprints or no marks on them since I applied. However, I did apply to my countertops as that was one of the places it could be used and although it did come up shiny, it does not repel fingerprints and stains.
