Janmashtami Special- Stories, Festivals and Mythologies of India

First of all this is an amazing initiative by Team CultureDabba. My kids would like to read these very well drafted stories and culture - be it tradition, festival, religion and history and also many icons of Indian Origin across globe. Every single edition of these books contain lot of contents around many little things sometime you want your kids to know and let them grow with that learning just as if it was a play and not a task or a school syllabus. It contains not only stories but also many unique games carved as & relates to Indian context, objects, events and or representing great diversity of India and its people in a very simple and playful way that kids dont have to stress to digest it. To note some of the stories are translated in a way to provide the context to kids that they can quickly relate to understand being outside of India. Its a full bundle of joy - many things combined together and if you start to enjoy each section of these editions... you might find its content are worth about 2-3 weeks for kids + parents to interact with each other (1.5-2 hours each day) on a purposeful way with quality time. My kids like to play games from this book with us and force us to play that every single evening before they go to bed (pic of one of the game is attached from book, there are many such kind of games & puzzles in this book). There are QR codes with some stories and content/details that lands you with new quiz question every day relating to either that topic or story or overall and my kids would ask us to scan barcode and try to answer that question... literally they get engaged and make you also engage with it. Important to note is that this is for kids however you as parents also get to learn new things about various parts of India which you never thought you knew about it. So all in all amazing experience and full bundle of joy for a family who wants to engage with kids in a meaningful way without compromising any quality time of kids. Great compilation of Indian culture and mythology. It is fun and interactive. My 7 year old son just lapped it up like he has lapped up all other productions by Culture Dabba. He has gone back and read those many times. A couple of his 8 & 9 year old friends have the same thing too and love reading it. A parent might need to read these to younger children.The activities and games are fun too.Highly recommend for anyone who wants to expose their children to India

Just received this book in mail today. My son started reading it right away. Every page is full of exciting information about Indian mythology and culture in the form of exciting stories and fun games.The colorful images made it really attractive for him. In my son's words " I liked the word finder games and king story ". Will definitely order the other books they have to offer.

This is a great book. My kids (7 and 9) love this book. It has a great mix of stories, puzzles and activities and we have great family time doing the puzzles and reading about the history and culture of India. We feel connected to India just by reading this book and feel nostalgic about how much fun we had growing up in such a varied multi-cultural environment.

My 9 yr old daughter love this book. She was all over it for a few hours. She liked the stories and puzzles. She also did the coloring pages. The concept is good and the quality is top class. Wish we had such things when we were growing up :-)

My kids love reading Amar Chitra Katha and love to learn Indian history and culture. But those books are really good for someone living in India.I heard about this book from a friend of mine and thought of giving it a try. What I liked about this book was that the stories are written keeping in perspective an Indian child raised outside India.My child was able to understand and imagine these stories perfectly!

Awesome content !! Just found this to be the apt gift for my kid on Diwali .. A beautiful way to tell kids about our culture and roots. I also ordered it for two more friends and their kids really loved the content and activities. Exceptional Work I would say !!

Great book to introduce Indian cultural values to children in a fun interactive way. There are great stories and also games to take children into the vibrant culture, history and geography of India.

Really liked this book. My kids love this range as it teaches them more about their culture.

Smashing..My son loved it. i have grown up reading Champak , Chandamama and other stuff where one used to get profound message. I was always looking for something similar for my kid but adapted to current needs . Glad to have this book which is a great mix of stories, puzzles and activities that provides exposure to history and culture of India in most easy & entertaining way. My son loved everything in the book specially the colorful pictures used throughout the book . In the end i would say , it is a Nice cool revolution !!
