This crucible has a great pouring spout

Works great. Larger than I expected. I have only done one pour, but held up well to 3 full heat cycles above 1700 degrees for tempering, glazing, and then pouring Aluminum-Brass.

Well priced, came packaged in a way that protected it from damage during shipping. If you're serious about getting into casting, the pour spout is a must for not making a mess.

Sturdy, no chips. Pour spout is key, did require a little modification to clean it the pour spout lines, but with a file it was easy. She's been up to 2100°F and is hanging in there just fine. I anticipate getting a few of these for each metal we melt.

It makes pouring far more precise. I purchased 3 and thoroughly enjoyed the ease of pouring. Except for the early failures of all three. Each began cracking after minimal use and then fell apart. I purchased the three in October and they have all failed in 90 days or less.

Came with a little bit of damage in the box, part of it was chipped away near the spout. Other than that it’s been working great and love the spout

melted brass with it at 2000F in a electric furnace, no cracks so it seems to work great!
