Good quality , and with the raised rim it saves any overspill from gravy and sauces . Witnessed this when Grandads Megga Yorkshire Pudding was cut into !

Needed some extra plates for a family dinner, so ordered these as they looked good and had the high edge on them. Plates were delivered by Royal Mail the next day, unfortunately two of the plates were smashed. They were promptly sent back to Amazon for a refund, and I ordered another box as I needed them for the w/end. They arrived the next day, by Amazon delivery this time, opened the box and guess what? Another broken plate. As I was desperate for plates I used the remaining five over the w/end. I ordered another set that arrived on Monday, with the idea that at least if some of these were broken I could at least amalgamate the plates and get one good set. The last box actually arrived unbroken, so I have now sent the second box back for another refund. The plates themselves seem of good quality, and are quite thick, it’s the way they are packed that is the problem. They are stacked with a thin sheet of cardboard between each plate, which in some cases was not inserted properly allowing the edges to move and touch each other. Hence they arrived broken. A little more care and better packaging would have made these plates a five star buy.

these are nice dinner plates. the design is attractive and the lipped edge also practical. they appear to be quite hardwearing so far but only time can tell for sure.they're pretty much ideal for our needs with one tiny exception, the lip on the edges make them a couple of mm too wide for the slots in our dish drying rack so they have to be hand dried as soon as they're washed up. not a major issue but might be a dealbreaker for some people.

Fabulous plates, good quality, very well packaged, lovely off white colour. Elegant and scandic looking, loved them. Great value for money.PS addition and removal of one star - reason: very easily scratched even on very accurate limited use, which is a little disappointing.
