Fabulous, I use them to make vanilla extract

Been ordering these for a while. Always fresh and plump. I use them to make my own vanilla extract and in my homemade vanilla ice cream. I’ve purchased beans at the grocery store and from other Amazon vendors and they are skinny and dried out.

Bottom line - 25 beans weighed less than 3 oz. Most were around 5.5". They were more like Grade B beans to be honest. Costco selling 5 beans for $14.99 which weighed more, were longer, and more plump. Don't waste your money here. Update 4/2/20 - At the end of March, FITNCLEAN VANILLA contacted me stating: "Because of the high demand for vanilla beans during the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays, we contracted a co-packer to help with the bagging of the beans. There were few instances our protocol was not adhered to leading to poor customer experience, as in your case." They sent a replacement shipment and upon my inspection, these beans weighed about 33% more, had a better texture, and were MUCH longer than the initial beans I received. Overall, they look like Grade A beans and I will run a batch of vanilla ice cream with them in the week ahead and then use the spent beans to make vanilla extract or paste. Update 6/26/2020 - FITNCLEAN VANILLA support has been outstanding. As stated above, the replacement beans were as good of a product as I have seen elsewhere. Having used them in both baking and ice cream, I can say without a doubt that the worked very well for me and I will be getting more. I even used the pods to make vanilla extract AFTER having removed the seeds for a recipe - and it worked - making a nice strong extract with a component that you might think about discarding but shouldn't. When investing in vanilla beans - and it is a substantial investment, always try to get everything you can from them. FITNCLEAN beans delivered!

I was a little disappointed in these vanilla beans. Out of 25 beans most of them were mainly 5 inches and very thin. They did have a good scent though. Update: FITNCLEAN VANILLA contacted me after reading my review. They explained that they were a small mom and pop company and every single purchase means a lot to them. They strive for a 100% customer satisfaction. They reviewed my dissatisfaction with my review and they went on to explain the co-packing company that was working for them, had been a few bumps in the road. They worked things out with them and they apologized for my dissatisfaction they offered to send me a 12 pack of beans to make up for the deficit in my order. I received my beans and they were beautiful. Every one of them were all 7" in size and plump very fresh with a beautiful aroma. I immediately made my vanilla extract with them. I can already tell it is going to be great! So I would again use this company and I would encourage you to do the same.
