Every mechanical engineering student will likely be required to purchase a book on this subject at some point in their collegiate career, whether you should purchase this non US version depends heavily on how much you mind deviating from your professor's assigned problems, if they're using the much more pricey US version. Many teachers these days assign problems through third party sites, so for some the difference in problem details may not even matter. As far as the quality of the book goes, it's cheap very thin paper in black print. No issues with legibility, however I did notice a few typos in a couple of important areas where equations/derivations are shown. The reader should be on the lookout for such mistakes. A student engaged with the course material should have no issue gaining competence in the subject using this book.

It may be the "Special Indian Edition", but the math and science is still universal. Don't worry, it's printed in English.

The book came on time, but the cover doesn't look like new. Also, no where is stated that the book is printed grayscale (black and white, no color). Тhe print quality is unsatisfactory. Atleast it is in SI units which is good for me

Fait très bien le travail pour son prix bcp moindre que la version originale, seulement certains numéros comportes de chiffres différents, et certains exercices n'ont pas les mêmes numéros, par contre les pages sont plus minces qui ne m'a pas causé de problèmes sachant que tout le contenu théorique est exactement le même. Je ne regrete pas mon achat.

Ottimo testo di cui avevo un versione pdf. Il costo non è alto, ma la stampa è in bianco e nero e i fogli sono leggeri.E' una versione per l'India ed è scritto in copertina...potevano evitare di scriverlo. ..comunque lo consiglio perché è completo e la versione originale costa 300 euro...

Book includes the concept and pictures with reference to each topic.Every topic is explained in details and you can solve ese fundamentals questions directly. I suggest you to read such books before you directly jump on to any coaching materials as it restrict our mind imagination for physical problems.
