Very sturdy. Easy to assemble.

After reading some poor reviews on similar products at the big box stores, I decided to take a chance on this one even though there weren't many reviews. It is a perfect fit for the space I had available. For the money paid, I think it's a good deal. When fully assembled this unit is plenty sturdy. It was very simple to put together and it took about 30 minutes. I don't know about the 3000 pound claim, but I can see it easily holding over 100 pounds per shelf. Knowing what I know now about it, I'd buy it again.

Not assembled

This is really solid when assembled correctly. You REALLY have to make sure the shelves are sitting in the slots ALL the way down. Even after using the mallet I had to go back and drive many of them in further. After that is was super sturdy. My only caveat is that if some shelves are placed close together it can be a bit tricky to get them in. I bent one of mine slightly. You need to come in from the top and install the top shelf last. I do think it is a bit pricey. I paid $209 plus $50 shipping. But honestly, I could not find a seven foot system that was also at least 4 ft wide. This is 7 ft x 54". Love the size.

My only complaint is that this shelf is basically two sections stacked on top of one another. This is fine once you have it where you want but it very easily comes apart if you attempt to move it. Tip: hold and maneuver from the bottom half. That said, thisnis only an issue if you need to move the shelf. Once together and in its final resting place, the shelving unit is very sturdy and holds up very well. No wobble or concerns with it tipping over (assuming placed on level ground) and wire shelves are very strong. Worth the price paid and may consider getting another one shortly.

Easy install and great quality

This product is described as heavy duty, and it is definitely not heavy duty. They have cheap plastic inserts between the connecting supports. As you can clearly see in my picture, they buckled on one of the installations in all four corners. This was without putting any weight on the shelves.

Unit was easy to assemble and solid at first, however after being moved around a couple of times the joints between the upper and lower halves failed and it became very wobbly and unusable.
