very fun to play with it's very addicting

I purchased this for my grandson and he is really enjoying it. It seems to be well made. It has kept him occupied flipping it open.

Got this for our son and now he’s got his own little “pocket knife” just like dad. The quality is great and withstands a wild 2 year old perfectly!

It's a fun set. I got this because my younger sister has always wanted a butterfly knife, and I've always been terrified of her actually getting one because she's a complete klutz. So I was hoping to find a way for her to get good at all the fun tricks before she ever attempts to flip, twirl, or godforbid, toss, something with an actual blade. I ordered this to try and learn it myself, see what she'd be getting herself into, and maybe just pass it along to her in preparation. What I've found is that this really doesn't have any useful applications. It is a toy. It's plastic, it's lightweight, it's not well oiled, and because it's too tight, it's impossible to get a good rhythm going with it. It's cool that they throw in an extra mini butterfly knife, but it's pretty much just for show, because if the BIG one isn't smooth, the little one hardly even works. It's just too small, and what gets the pieces of a blade like this swinging around is momentum using the weight of its own parts.So. Not for much more than playing pretend, but I'd imagine a kiddo wanting to look cool and swing a fake knife around thinking they're doing tricks would get a kick out of this, and probably wouldn't even mind the mini one being too small.

The bigger balisong of the two is very fun to use, I love playing around with it constantly. However, it is loud when flipping it because the plastic and the fact they the handles of the balisong touch when the blade is flipped out. The small one is basically is useless unless you are a baby. Ive had to tighten the screw on it because after flipping it so much the screws can come undone but it’s a quick and easy fix. overall great product for beginners, definitely better than busting and bruising my hand with a real metal one and it also gave me more confidence when trying more tricks.
