Originally was going to order 2 but was put off by reviews stating was too short or didn't work properly in Audi A4 ... wish I'd have just got 2 now as fits perfectly.. nice and tight so doesn't rattle around or pop out like cheap pieces or crap do so no issues with power intermittance ... haven't used a great deal but is fully metal so imagine will be durable enough ... seems as though it will be worth the extra couple of quid from what I've seen so far

This is a neat car adopter port. I don't benefit from the blue led much as I use it in a charger port inside the central storage box. But the blue led only lights when a USB device is plugged in.This makes it incredibly useful to know that the device is plugged in and getting power.More importantly, the charger is the first that is have used that actually charges my Pixel Xl while using Waze for navigation on long journeys (100miles or so).Previously, the in car charger I got free with something, only seems to trickle charge the Pixel CL resulting in no Navigation for some of my longer journeys or instant shut down when I switched the engine off.I am very pleased with this USB charger. I got a no nonsense feeling when I used it as the Pixel Xl began charging instantly, unlike the free with something USB adaptor.

Nice product, feels solid and heavy in hand. I had a charger that was sticking out a fair bit and with cable going over gear stick it was recently disconnecting very often so decided to upgrade to this one.Positive:- it's small and sits tight in the lighter socket- no accidental movements that may lead to disconnecting itNegative:- Doesn't exactly sit flush with the socket itself, it sticks out about 1cm in my car, but that said I don't mind because it's quite rigid anyway.Now in hindsight I'd say I guess lighter socket depth may vary a bit, but based on advert photos I was under impression it will sit flush, it doesn't, therefore 4/5 stars.Still worth getting, no question about it! I will get another one for the back seats :)

Fits well in my 2006 Audi A4, not totally flush, sticks out approx 5mm but this is much better than the TomTom charger that sticks out approx 25mm before you plug a cable in. Really happy with the lower height & second socket so can now keep both TomTom & iPhone charged at the same time.Takes a bit of careful unpacking as it is in a plastic blister card & has a tuff plastic wrap around the body once you’ve got it out.

I've now bought three of these for various cars, the original in my Outlander, one for my wife's Evoque and now one for my Aston Martin Vantage.The quality is excellent, they are a tight fit so don't wobble about and they sit almost flush so they don't get it the way.Well worth the money. Delivery each time has been very quick.

Bought to run a TomTom and phone charger in my 1960'2 classic car. Plug and forget, takes full load, doesn't overheat, recommended

Unit got so hot I could not hold it in my hand. Charge was not affected just not sure what would have happened to the plastic around the car socket if I had not noticed.
