Does this already come in a walnut color or is it indeed to.be stained?

It is a very light colored veneer, almost a blond color. I stained my piece with a walnut color and it took the stain very nicely. I then polyurethaned the piece. Very happy with the product.

Could it be cut with a CNC machine?

I don’t know what a CNC machine is but it can be cut very easily with a box cutter or an exacto knife.

I have no 3m backing on mine. What gives?

I would contact the seller or Amazon for a replacement. I had a peel and stick backing on mine therefore I am unsure why you didn’t have the backing in yours.

Description says it has 3M peel and stick backing but reading further application is described using Contact cement..which is correct?

It came with the peel and stick backing but it applied easily and I allowed it to sit to ensure good adhesion. No problem with it sticking properly.
