High quality drawing desk
This was an easy desk to assemble. The only complaint I have with it is the woodgrain top. It will texture your art if you draw right on it. I put a nice piece of plexiglass I bought at home depot for cheap and screwed it to the desktop. Its perfect now!

Looks good, but surface quality scratches easily.
The desk looks break on the surface. It went together simply and I will be keeping it. However, the surface scratches easily, this is not real wood so be cognizant of what your getting. Also, it does not raise and lower, something you definitely need to consider as I overlooked this point.

Pretty good.
This is a nice looking drawing table, and fairly sturdy. I've had to re-tighten all the screws a couple of times, but that's not too bad. The only drawbacks are 1) I wish it had some way to adjust the height. I had to put the legs on 1" boards to make it a little higher. And 2) the veneer peels off easily when cleaning. So be careful about that. Overall, though, a pretty good value, and it looks much nicer than my old table.

Solid Wood, Good Quality
I was surprised by the quality....very nice. Solid wood and nicely finished. You can smell the stain as it comes out of the box. No particle board or MDF. I just wanted an inexpensive table to review maps on but ended up with a really nice product...

Awesome desk
This is a great drafting desk. I like that it’s not plastic/glass, it’s not wobbly at all (saw other reviews mentioning this - maybe bolts are not screwed tightly?). Distressed black is not black-black but rather very dark brown color. It was not very easy to assemble - a lot of bolts and screws, and you need an additional screwdriver, but was worth the effort at the end, and all wholes were in place. When the top is flat - the desk is pretty high so it’s a nice height for a standing desk (I’m 5’5”). I use it tilted just a bit and it’s comfortable both for using my laptop and drawing.
