V14 Diagnostic Cable for VW Audi Skoda SEAT and Nissan, K+CAN OBD2 Code Reader Cable Compatible for VAG K+CAN Commander 1.4, Driver/APP Must Be Installed

I got this to connect to my 2012 Nissan Xterra PRO-4X. Operating on Windows 10, I plugged in the cord to my laptop and the Xterra, and the drivers automatically updated. I did have to change what COM port to talk to in the NDSIII software. Windows automatically assigned it to COM05, but NDSIII was set to COM01. Once I changed that in the NDSIII software, I was able to connect.

I used this cable with the (NDS3) Nissan DataScan III software on a Windows 11 laptop to do the Idle relearn on my Infiniti G37S. The NDS3 software seems pretty picky about the cable. In my case I did not have to add any extra drivers to my laptop. My car runs better now!

I used this cable for a 2020 Hyundai Elantra GT N-line to reset the DCT adaptation values and check the DCT clutch life. Worked as expected, used COM port 1. Program I used this with was DAP4CS, which is a whole confusing program but that's nothing to do with this cable. But they both worked together easily.

Does not work

I am VERY appreciative that the seller mentions NDSIII in the description of this cable. I contacted NDS before purchasing this cable and was told I needed a K+CAN OBD2 cable which led me to this product. It was great to see the seller confirmed that this cable works with NDSIII. I also received an email from the seller shortly after purchasing with detailed instructions and a product manual PDF. Instructions include a link to download drivers for this if needed for your OS version. I am running Windows 11 Pro 64 bit which upon plugging in this cable Windows found it without issue and installed a driver. The driver installed worked fine with NDSIII so I did not have to utilize any of the drivers from the link provided. This cable was used in combination with NDSIII software purchased from NDS and installed on a laptop to successfully increase the idle RPM on our 2009 Nissan Armada.

Disclaimer the seller does what they say. They provided the software I wanted. But the cable would not do everything I wanted (imm-o) delete so I had to order a different cable to achieve that. But the software was worth the price in my opinion. Just keep in mind this is old software that is cloned so you’re gonna need a specific computer. Others have said they got it to work on other machines. I had to source a windows 7 machine for anything to work. So be reasonably tech savvy if your gonna attempt this

The product works great, only after hours of figuring out how to install the driver. For people who has trouble get it to work, just go to FTDI’s website and download the D2XX driver from there.

NDS2 & NDS3 compatible windows 11 64bit confirmed. Allows full access to ecu through the consult 2 protocol. VMware is not necessary for this specific application. Ideal for 350z,G35,370,G37 others may be compatible this is what I have personally tested!
