I would like the manufacturer to say what it is made of. You answered other questions; but not that one....which makes me want to skip this product

It is made of vinyl. "Polyvinyl chloride (PVC or vinyl) is the most toxic plastic for our health and the environment. PVC has been around since the 1970s. You drink water out of it now. Dihydrogen monoxide... sounds scary. This chemical can literally destroy mountains. That is water and is a chemical. You drink it to live. Working in retail has shown me a lot. 95% of people "believe Santa is real." Lots of ignorant people EVERYWHERE!

How comfortable is the mat when you're sitting in the tub? I'm thinking about my kids and specifically my 10 month old and how comfy the mat is?

its wonderful and not rough feeling at all.. stays attached to bottom of tub with no slipping.. and it allows kids toys to be picked up quickly at end of bath by rolling it each way to middle.. I would suggest this mat for kids as well as older folks.. its comfortable to just sit on while taking extended baths..

Is it advisable to hang up the mat after using? (over a towel rack or shower door handle.) Thanks.

The instructions that come with it specifically say that you should hang it to dry. I would find that irritating and probably impossible if I didn't have glass shower doors, one of which has an otherwise useless internal towel rack. I'm sure it's not entirely necessary to hang it, but doing so will probably increase the life of the product and prevent mold from building up.

Has anyone had this for a while and can speak to how mold resistant it really is? Thanks!

I have had two of these mats, with the first one purchased in 2018. I haven’t had an issue with mold! I love being able to wash it in the washer on a quick hot wash once every week or two weeks and a regular time once a month with vinegar to kill anything. We use this for daily showers for our kids. Works amazing!!
